I needed a hot air gun in a pinch to pop bubbles in a resin epoxy table I am working on. I ordered this unit because the Dewalt branded unit wasn't available from any vendor on Amazon at the time in new condition. I didn't want to deal with cords getting in the way while walking around the top. The HILIPE Cordless Heat Gun uses the Dewalt batteries. The unit functioned correctly but I was disappointed in the power of the blower on this unit and will be ordering the name brand unit in the near future in hopes that it is better for my intended use. I will be keeping this one for electrical shrink tube and paint work but it leaves something to be desired in the power department. I ended up using a butane torch I had laying around to finish my project.

I only need a heat gun once in a while, and cordless is a great option, I’m typically working on trailers, or other remote things, this thing works great. Love it. Was hard to justify the full cost of the dewalt, if I was using it everyday, I would have. But this product is perfect for some one like me

Heat gun gets hot and pushes a decent amount of hot air. The attachments are good. I didn't give a 5 star bc, as others state, this goes through batteries quickly. I'd guess about 4 minutes of juice with the slim batteries. Just have other batteries on hand. If you think you'll need to use a heat gun a lot, get a chorded heat gun. If you just nneed a quick heat gun for a small task, like when upside down doing wire connections in a trunk, it's great not having to tote a chord around.

Does not heat at hight temperature takes time to do heat shrinks and not alot of heat
