With the new WAGO 221 Series Splicing Connectors, you can now test the voltage from both sides – even when installed. The connectors have two test slots right where the WAGO imprint appears: one in the conductor entry direction and one on the opposite side. This accessibility provides extremely convenient testing conditions, even after installation, within a wide range of applications. Every connector variant also provides a secure contact for all standard test probes.

These WAGO connectors will work with solid or stranded wire making them super useful and easy to use. Additionally they're smaller than wire nuts so if you're tight for space they help.

I used these for the first time on a remodel project. I think they're much easier to make connections than traditional wire nuts. Time will tell if they're going to hold up in the box for the long run but for this DIY'er they're certainly faster and take up less room. I'll definitely use them again if I have a need.

These are fantastic for speedy, clean, safe electrical work. Pay attention to the side marks for wire stripping length—11mm—and consider adding a piece of electrical tape around the levers when you are complete.When you push the wires into the box, there is a chance those levers could be pressed open—creating a loose wire or loose connection. Add a piece of electrical tape around them all and you are set for safe wiring.I did buy 2 others types of wire connectors and they were junk. Stick with these and you'll be happy and safe.
