Love this ice chopper. Sharp blade easily chops the ice and then slides under the slab and lifts it. Sturdy pole. Almost makes clearing ice fun.

I got this today and had to use it immediately since the ice build up around my gutter was substantial and all over the sidewalk. When I tell you I was impressed, I was impressed. It broke up all of the ice and was so easy to put together (screws were a little annoying though) and easy to use. Would highly recommend. I wish I took before and after pictures.

Solid ice scrapper Sharpe and sold head . Would have given it 5 stars if handle was solid wood . Handle in 3 sections but still pretty good

The quality is a BIT lacking, as it slowly unscrews as you chop, but it makes up for it by DEMOLISHING ice! As you can see, it scraps and chops normal amounts of ice, though it struggles with thick amounts.I love the comfortable design though, and the handle length is IDEAL for this 6' tall man!Overall, I'd say this is worth far more than what I paid.

Easy to assemble and the perfect size for steps and other tight spaces. The handle can be made shorter if you want by just leaving out the middle section when you are putting it together.

I guess fairly sturdy, but I wanted it to remove weeds on driveway after spraying and letting them dry out. It isn't angled enough or wide enough or sharp enough to do the task. Not even a small row. Maybe it's operator error ha. I'm just getting a good sturdy flat head shovel. I'm not sure what I can use this for but surely I'll come up with something

We've had it for a while now, 2-3 Canadian winters (Quebec, where ice-capades can be a daily event), good at breaking up ice even a couple of inches thick. Has a good weight which adds power to the blade when you drop it from a height of 6-12 inches, so you work less. Will also easily dislodge sheets of ice from paved walkways and the like.
