I have an aging senior dogs and we made a ramp and this helps with the snow and ice. Melts quickly love the light so you know when it’s on.

We have a few stray cats we feed and even though we gave heated cat houses, they don't always feel comfortable going inside them. We have now bought two of these mats because the strays love this heated mat during cold days and evenings. I'll update my review when the second mat comes and I connect them. I'm hoping the heat doesn't change once connected to lessen.**UPDATE** They are both holding the same heat as one did alone. Very happy with my purchase.

I bough this item to prevent slips on a wooden ramp. During a snow and ice event it was the only location where one could walk.

The only reason for two stars is customer service. The first mat I ordered only heated up in one corner. The company sent a second one within a week and I am getting the same result. For $175/mat this is quite disappointing.
