Pros: putting these up is easy and if you hide the "wire" correctly it is indistinguishable from the real thing. And ultimately these are "deterrents" meaning that if someone is casing your house for a burglary, they will walk past a house with a camera.However - they are large(ish) which also may attract your obnoxious neighbor who then proceeds to tell you that the cameras should NOT be picking up areas OUTSIDE your property, who inform you that they don't consent to being recorded and that you need to "do something about that." So I was stuck with a quandary of whether I tell them they're fake or just lean into it and promise to "readjust them,"Moral of the story - they work.

Well it worked!! Tricked our neighbors into thinking we have extra cameras up around the house without having to spend another few $100!Batteries hold up and the quality is very realistic!My husband set it up in just 5 minutes! Was very easy, and well worth the money

Works, I covered the blinking red light with a small square of electrical tape which beams the overly bright light onto the other fake LED bulbs creating a more real effect- stock the red blink is way too bright in completely dark environments. The blink definitely lasts a long time off of two AA batteries-For the right applications these are great, any situation where the person you’re trying to deceive can get closer than about 10 feet- there’s a pretty good chance they could tell it’s old.In that situation I would go with broken real equipment off of eBayBut for 5$ a unit with all the hardware etc. definitely a good deal

They are made of plastic and it’s we’ll able to see they are plastic and security cameras are not made from plastic so it would be very noticeable as fake didn’t come with any information or instructions didn’t come with installation screws for the cameras I gave full stars because I didn’t need this I’m sure someone else will find it as a good product but for me I personally prefer the cameras to be realistic looking and metal and with installation screws installation instructions

Look more authentic than most. Bought some coated cable, drilled a small hole in the wood trim and glued the cable using adhesive caulk to the camera and then pushed the free end of the cable into the drilled wood to give it a really real look. Note: drill the hole to fit the cable tight in the hole. Do not glue. You may need to remove the camera to access the battery compartment.

I like these. They are easy to install..haha no, but really they are easy to put up. They come with the nessary screws. Good led lighting. Nice fake wire and a hole to put it in. When I was putting one up to the left of my home my Nextdoor neighbor asked me if I needed help adjusting it so I could go inside and look at the feed. I walked in and out of the house frequently while adjusting them. Hey you dont know who is watching, or when. If you really want to know then I guess you should get real ones. An inexpensive crime deterrent. Good quality. You might want to put the top slider thing on AFTER you mount the ‘camera’, if you mount something up high and are looking straight at it it may slide off and hit your nose and give you a big scratch in the middle of your face before a job interview. But that was all on me.

I didn't use the batteries and just put the cameras up, because I thought the blinking lights looked funny. The camaras look really good. The addition of drywall anchors and screws was appreciated. The cameras articulate just like the real thing, so we spent time pointing them strategically. One of the cameras had a shield cover that slid around and barely stayed on. Good looking units, and I may add a few real ones now.
