This is a phenomenal filter for light pollution. The threads are perfectly machined to accommodate my 10-20mm wide angle lens for my Nikon camera. I'm in a Bortle 5 area, with light pollution from NYC coming from the east. I occasionally get these gradients in my astrophotography photos, and have been reluctant to take photos of the Milky Way because of it. This filter helps eliminate the unwanted light pollution that comes through, especially on long exposure shots. I included a photo of the sky I took towards the east, just shortly after sunset. You can see how effective it is on the stars, even though there is light noise coming from the horizon. This is an excellent choice for those of you out there looking to "up your game" when it comes to starry/Milky Way shots this summer.

This is a great idea for reducing the widespread light pollution that has marred many of my forays into night sky photography. Living in a somewhat rural area in a very populous state, it is a real challenge finding a suitably dark area to capture night sky phenomenon like meteor showers and the occasional mid latitude aurora. Even when I can find a darker area after hours of searching, there are almost always security lights on the occasional barn or farmhouse. I am somewhat old school in my approach- I feel that using the proper tools and techniques to capture the image is 'real' photography, rather than relying on post processing software and AI to create the image. Filters are a real game changer, and I am excited to try this Natural Night Sky filter as soon as this part of the planet thaws out. For now, I can say the fabrication and packaging appears equal to many big brand filters, of which I own many. If this filter proves to be a disappointment, I will revise this review accordingly.

Picture A, is what came out of the box a 67mm lens in its protector case. Picture B is the lens laying on the table. Picture C is my telephoto lens setup with the 67mm natural night filter install in the very end you can see.. I can still see pretty good and the lens is very clear. I had this light spot in my telephoto lens and have been looking for a way to get it better. This worked for me and now I may be able to get those long distanse pictures I want to get. Especially in the evenings of those beautiful sunsets. I do hope this helps as I wasn't sure how or if it would help for sure. I do feel better now that it did. The price was a little more than I would normally pay, but when I went and looked around not a huge difference. Some were more than twice as much.

This filter is excellent at removing the "glow" that hangs on lights after dark. In an urban setting, I believe this filter is a must if you want crisp reproduction of a scene. So often I have had photographs that should jump off the screen, just look like one big light mass. The same thoughts apply to star photos. By using this filter I have been able to remove some of the underlying glow that seems to make everything blend. This is not a magical filter, but at times it seems as if it might be, and I will never shoot at night without it. It is well built, it comes in its own hard case and I recommend it,.

This filter is well machined and fits my Sony E mount lens (24-105 G OSS) perfectly. Filter screws in like butter and is easy to apply and remove. The haze-reduction for cityscapes is exceptional. A good value.

IMAGE 1: filter on. Image 2 no filter. These aren't the highest quality pictures my any means, but in real life the difference is stunning. Even ar 80,000 iso, the filter reduced noise a substantial amount. And there was effectively no impact on shutter speed in this informal test.I was unaware this tech existed, but once you try it there is no going back! I'm excited to try this filter in a number of lighting conditions and am already thinking of situations where it could be very impactful

Finally got a clear night in the city to try this out. It does give some better contrast and cut into the haze. Reduced halo of building lights and gives a little more depth to the scenes.Long-exposure night sky is marginally better with improved contrast and more natural colors. It does reduce the light by about one stop overall just judging from my eye. But that is easy to compensate. There's only so much that a pollution filter can do. But I feel like this one is an excellent value to perform very close to others that cost so much more.
