These are good racks at a fair price. We've had a couple of the plastic caps in the ends of the metal tubes fall out and go missing, but other than that they give us a great place to hang our kayaks off the ground. I like the fact they fold up when not in use as we move our kayaks to the barn during the winter when they are not in use. Having them fold up keeps us from running into the empty racks.

I needed a good way to keep the kayaks off the floor in a pile. This solved the problem and they flip up out of the way when not in use.
Trying to cut down..on everything.

Giving one of my into hulls to my daughter but her garage storage space islimited and she needs a system that works with just one person.I chose this because it is very adjustable (we are using it on the narrowest setting) andcan be direct attached to a garage wall (into the studs). At the height we have itat it clears any car but can still be put up a side at a time by my 5'4" daughter.Install is easy once you find the studs as it uses just 2 screws into the wall (noteI substituted longer screws) and you can adjust the width with the supplied 2 bolt/nut combo.Given the position we are storing it in I added 2 long bungies to a hook/eye combo (notethese are not included in the set). The BadThey are a little wobbly from side to side. This concerns me given the methodof pushing it in on one end and then lifting the other end in that my daughter uses. The concern is that the twisting of the rack will torque the screws and break them off.A solution to this would be to offset the screws left to right from the top to the bottomso the rack would not rock. I plan on adding this soon. There could also be tabs on theside to prevent this.It would also be nice if it included some foam pieces to limit the stress on the hull. The GoodThe hardware seems sturdy as is the tubing. The welding looks good. The adjustment size is very wide.Over all I like it but it could use some improvements.

I bought these to put on the back of my golf cart to transport lawn chairs. Work incredible.

I picked this up for a friend whose kayak was leaning agains the fence in his yard and everytime the kids were playing in the yard and came near it he got nervous they were going to knock if over, I know move the kayak, but he never did and it never ended. When this popped up in my feed I jumped on it, went to his house and mounted it to the fence, no more problems. The brackets are strong enough to hold the kayak up without bending over the last few months. He took it down back and put it every other week to use the kayak and there have been no deflection issues yet. Overall a simple solution to a simple problem.

I store kayaks outdoors so I like them to lay upside-down flat, not at an angle, to shed water.I mounted these racks on a 7' wooden fence, screwed to the posts. These racks extend far enough to lay down boats up to like 26" wide in the middle. Note: they racks themselves don't actually extend that far but kayaks are tapered so the further the spread the skinnier they get. Distance between my posts is ???The low height profile of these racks allows more boats on one wall.I bought three sets of these racks to be mounted at a cottage. I had one night to mount them so they had to work correctly. Unfortunately, one of the 6 arms had the square holes punched slightly off center which prevented it from being able to achieve its full extension length. I didn't want to drill it out because the square hole would become round, thereby allowing the carriage bolt to spin rather than tighten. I ended up cutting the plastic insert to allow more wiggle room. Very frustrating and time-consuming. Very disappointing for a brand-new product.I will purchase these again because they are cheap and adjustable. However, I'll buy an extra set as a backup in case I get another defective arm.

The mounts are easily adjustable to hold a variety of kayaks, lawn chairs or other items in your shed or garage. These are great for those looking to organize large items on the wall. I like that the kit included everything needed for whatever mounting option I wanted! I was also very impressed that the tubing was welded all the way around the seam; no weak spot weld stuff going on here! I have confidence that these will hold my gear securely. I also appreciate that they can be folded up when not in use or extended to about 25.5†if you have a wider item or want to hang multiple lawn chairs out of the way.

Nice and strong arms for your kayaks. We mounted to the shed outside to hang or ur tandem sit on top on and they hold it well.
