It was a lot heavier/sturdier then I thought it would be. East to set and operate. I got a friend to install it for me (you need to be strong to hold it up and secure it to the studs.) I'm super happy to have this. If you don't have the code or the key - there is no way anyone could get it out of the wall even with a sledgehammer I'm pretty sure. Awesome product.

I found a convenient place along a wall where the stud tester showed spacing was correct at 16". Although it also showed some AC (electrical) in the wall, I could tell it was running low in the wall from one outlet to another. After some measuring I cut the hole, and after a test fit, inserted the safe and anchored it using the supplied lag bolts. The only item I had to adjust was when placing the batteries in. The battery holder would not accept my popular US made AA's, as it was too short. So I cut a link or two off both battery springs in the holder (picture attached). Otherwise, very pleased with all.

Everything works great except the fixing cable head was too big for the hole. had to hammer it in instead

Safe came damaged in multiple spots and was missing some hardware that was supposed to come with for installation. Instructions were good enough but the could have been much better.

Since we first move to our home, my husband kept saying how much he wanted a safe. Well, during some of the renovations we had to build a wall on what is going to be the guest bedroom, and with it came the idea of having a wall safe. After a bit of research I ended up choosing this one and I’m pretty happy with it. It is heavy! And I really like all the shelves on it. We didn’t installed yet because the project got pushed back, but I can’t wait to actually have this up. I’ll update this review with it when it’s in place.

I’ve looked at other brands, they were definitely lighter made than this little beast. Key pad works great the emergency key is a must. The interior light is a nice touch. Installing was a breeze.
