I initially installed the lights using the included plugs using an Insteon plug-in dimmer switch as a temporary solution while I waited for the 4" plate adapters which I requested through the posted email address. The plates took about 2-3 weeks to arrive. Once they arrived, hardwired the lights through an Insteon micro-dimmer switch which I placed in an attic junction box that fed both lights.I am extremely happy with the lights. They throw a lot of light but can be easily dimmed using the included remote. The remote can control one or both lights at the same time (on/off, dim, light color). The lights look sharp and I like the ability to move each bar individually.The 4" plates that were provided for free from the manufacturer make the lights even better! I was concerned that they would detract from the look of the lights but the brass plate along with the two brass screws really make the lights stand out even more. Installation of the plates was extremely easy as the plug-in wires simply detach from the unit and I just inserted 14-2 wire into the internal connections.Only issue that I've had is while they were temporarily installed. I had some issues with the lights not remembering their previous setting or turning off unexpectedly. This seems to have been caused due to the slower ramp rate of the Insteon plug-in dimmer and I suspect it caused issues with the devices. Once I installed it on the micro-dimmer switch with an instantaneous-on ramp rate I didn't have any issues at all.What surprised me the most was the customer service. After emailing the company to request the plate adapters, they were extremely quick on all responses and always polite. They provided tracking information as well as an additional installation guide. They even sent a follow-up email after the parts were received just to see if I had any issues. What company takes the time just to follow-up with customers anymore? That's fantastic!I would definitely recommend this product and I plan on looking for more GOODATE products in the future.

Easy to set up, three different light modes, all controlled by remote. You can hard wire them or plug them in. You can put them in any position you want. These work great and according to my wall meter only use .2w on high mode. So 2watts and yet there as bright as 60w light bulbs. Value for the money is outstanding, and they give any room a great look,

My wall needed a makeover. There were too many coffee mugs in the cabinet. I had envisioned this setup for a while, and it turned out exactly how I imagined.The lights weren't that hard to install, I would say the most difficult part was getting the little screws in that hold the light to the casing on the wall. I'm a 55 year old woman with experience with tools, but not an expert. Just go slowly, be patient and think it out. It took me about an hour to measure, drill and place the lights by myself.If you hold the unit to the casing and line up the holes, add the first little top screw (I had it set up to have a screw hole at the top) this helps, but still hold it firmly until you get another screw in because the light unit is too heavy to be held by one little screw. The screws that hold this part are impossibly small, I wish they were larger or longer, but it worked.The lights are beautiful. You can change the hue to your liking as well as the brightness. The remote easily synchronized to both lights and from there you only have to use it for both lights instead of one.These are plugged into a socket below. You can also hardwire them but I didn't. I added a wire casing to hide the cord and it looks good. I need to cut some more down to size, as you can see. The idea came from other photos of reviews on this product.

I must say these lights made my bedroom a new level to my modernist design. Easy to install. Just with they could be linked to WiFi/app

This product may be okay if you use the cord provided. However for hardwired applications it has multiple flaws that wasted a lot of my time:1. Not UL listed - likely unlawful to install in the US2. The cover plate does not cover any standard 4in US junction box.3. The remote is the only way to turn the lights off.4. When the lights are hardwired and turned off with the remote, a very dim light still shows.

It was a pain but it up - the screws are super tiny and it was very hard to put it up and screw it together. One of them is sturdy, the other one is so-so. We like the end result tho. It takes a second to figure out the remote but once you do, it works really well. Love the different "color" (white, warm white, etc.) and the strength (10 different strengths).

ATM I have only mounted them and plugged them in but I think I will hard wire them. Just wanted to see a) if they give us enough light b) suit the space.They are fantastic. Three different light tones. They sync very easily and both rods of light can move to different directions. So happy. These are also the bigger ones. I believe the 39 inch.

Wouldnt stay up on wall.l, the Tiny screws are soft and stripped during installation. Won't stay attached to back support. Terribly dissapointing however 😔 seller made it right and could not be more pleased!!! Would definitely Order again!

Unfortunately when I bought the product it wouldn’t cover the standard electrical junction box size. After contacting customer service they helped resolve the issue and provided me with multiple options including larger wall mounting plates, etc. will hopefully try these again in the future
