Worked well. I installed on the back of my pontoon boat in the sheet metal on the fences. I backed it up with 1 inch plywood on the inside just so I didn't have big screws sticking way out and that way they had a little more material to bite into. The metal fence of the pontoon is only about 1/16" thick so I feel way better having the wood in their as well. First day out at Castaic Lake was 25 mph winds and white capping water. Had all my rods in there, I bought 2 of these 4 rod holders in blue. Had 6 rods from my 6'6 spinning to my 7'6 casting rods and my sons little 5ft rod. The spinning reels sit a little deeper in there but all my rods survived without a problem. Was out full throttle running about 30mph across the rough water and they worked great, rods stayed in nothing fell off. They look great and work great. Easy to install. 100% recommend these!

I honestly don't recall what I paid for this 6 months or so ago, but I do remember thinking how can it be that inexpensive - is it going to be a POS? No! Very well made.

I ordered these about 3 years ago for our camper. I took them off the camper and mounted them to a bumper mounted cargo carryall for the jeep. Just ordered another set to put back on the camper. The old ones are still like new from 3 years ago. Great product.

Looks great and super sturdy. There are plastic sleeves to prevent scrapes. I use this to hold both poles and landing nets.

Had to find a way to store rods on our boat, this works great. Like the way it keeps the rods from moving when traveling across the water.
