There were multiple tries with style and size by the time I settled on this jacket. The material feels really durable (and water resistant) and the insulation is so warm. The cuffs at the wrists and the elastic around the hips help this jacket give you fit and comfort. With another style of this brand, the sleeves and shoulder area were too small/short, even though it was the same size. With this jacket, I can fully raise both arms without exposing my wrists. I have what I feel to be longer than normal arms (24" ideal sleeve length), and this jacket keeps my wrists covered and warm. This jacket is a size Large and it is a tiny bit loose on me, but I have been losing weight up to and since purchase. My current measurements are 40" bust, 32" waist, and 42" hips; 5'9" and 170 lbs (as pictured). I used my bust as the size-determining factor, knowing this jacket had a feminine flare. I do use the elastic draw cords around the hips, but don't need to tighten them too much to feel comfortable and snug. Since I struggled to find the right style and fit, I hope I can help others choose their right size. When I was looking at reviews, I couldn't find any specific measurements indicating which size would fit best, because height and weight don't necessarily tell the whole story (BWH is much more helpful IMO). I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone who wants to be warm and comfortable, but also look good.

Got this for an Iceland trip coming up and wanted a 2nd heavy coat. I originally got a medium, but the arms felt very snug and movement was limited and I only had a very thin long sleeve shirt on so I returned and got a Large, which is much more roomy and comfortable.This coat has everything I wanted: length past hips, very thick, sleeves long enough for my long arms, inside pocket, [detachable] hood that also tightens and secures so it can't be blown off your head.I can't wait to try it out!Something of note: the color is listed as 'beige' and commenters said it was a cream color. The medium size I ordered first was snow/bright white in color, with black buttons and black cuffs around the wrists. The Large was the correct beige color. Not sure what the indiscretion was between the sizes, but it was obviously not the same color. I didn't hate the black and white combo and I still would have kept it had it fit. But I love the cream color and is what I actually wanted.

This coat is such great quality, and at this price point, I was honestly shocked. We recently moved from a warm state to a much colder one, and I ordered this coat to "tide me over." I will not be purchasing anything else! I love the length. I love the hood. It is more than thick enough for Wisconsin winters but not so warm that I'm sweating bullets in the car. Couldn't be happier!

It is difficult to pick something out online but this purchase has met all my needs, so much so I have ordered the coat in other colors.

The coat itself seems very nice although I didn’t keep it. The sleeves were very long, but the body of the coat was quite snug on me. I am 5‘3“ tall and weigh 125 pounds and I bought a medium sized jacket.

Really well designed jacket for everyday use in snowy BC. The pocket layout and design is awesome too! Super deep front pockets that go right to the bottom of the jacket as well as two inside pockets ( one zip one Velcro) which are great size for a phone. Nice soft cuffs seal in the heat. I took a chance on this one and it paid off !

I do really like this jacket—fits well as I measured myself and used the size chart. Quite warm; seems well made. BUT…Despite the product title “ Wantdo Women's Winter Padded COTTON Jacket…†there is absolutely no cotton in this jacket. The tag sewn into it states Recycled Polyester shell and 100% Polyester fill and lining.Also, machine washable but not suitable for tumble dry… must hang to dry or lay flat.

Way better than ever expected (for purchasing a winter coat online!) Yes, the fit is a bit larger than anticipated and not slim fit as per the description, but that's totally fine since I had planned to wear layers and thick(er) hoodies underneath. I like a roomier coat feel anyway.While it is not super thick, in fact lighter than I imagined, I was plenty warm enough on a longer walk in the low minus temps of a snowy November. Note: I do not plan on partaking in snowshoeing or skidooing or snowboarding, so this coat is perfect for my needs.Update: This coat was definitely way warm enough while shovelling snow in frigid January temps of close to -25C with windchill. I only wish it were longer for maybe prolonged outdoor activity in windy frigid conditions.Hood is detachable and there's pockets w/button closures on both sides. Interior cellphone pocket as well. I really love the cuffs, as I can pull them down to completely cover my hands for warmth or to cover my gloves. Inner material is like the outside material, but this doesn't bother me; it doesn't slide up at all.Super happy w/this jacket and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or even purchase another. Absolutely love it!!

When I saw the picture, I was worried I'd look like a wine-flavored marshmallow, but it's fits wonderfully.The pocket for the phone is great, I like how the opening is along the inner seam and not cut across, which will probably help with durability. There's another lower-down inner pocket perfect for reading glasses.It's cozy, tested at about 1C for me so far, and the pockets keep my bare hands relatively warm at that temp.The color is a tad brighter than the pictures, depending on your computer I suppose, but still a nice burgundy.
