It took six months to bring myself to pay out the money for this winch. But... buy once cry once. The 4500 barely fit on my Pioneer 500, BUT it did.I've found that I have a lot more fun out on the trails knowing that now I can reliably pull myself out of about any mess I get into.The Warn works smoothly and is pretty quiet compared to the Harbor Freight winch I had before. Installation was easy (not quick, but I'm OCD). Getting one with synthetic rope is worth the extra money too.IMPORTANT!The switch is a proprietary "smart switch". The led turns colors if the winch gets close to full load, and again at max load. If you plan to use this on a side-by-side, the Axon 4500 comes with a panel mount switch AND a plug-in remote. The 3500 only comes with a handle bar mount switch. By the time you pay for the right style switch, you're close to the difference in price.*If anyone is wondering, I used a KFI winch mount and fairlead bracket. I'd buy em' again, no doubt. Check KFI's manufacturer cross reference to get the correct size of each. I did, and both were a perfect bolt-on match.

Winch is awesome very easy to wire. Have not put the winch to the test. I will update in the future. Installed on a 2018 Can Am X 3 MAX DS Turbo with a Can Am OEM Front Bumper Part number # 715002878. DOES NOT FIT. Front Bumper Mount has edge on the bracket that needs to be trimmed off to make fit. I took off about 6 inches and flush to the back plate to make work. WARN AXON 45-RS Powersports Winch. DOES NOT FIT. Winch mount holes are smaller on the RS model because of the smaller spool of rope (26.5). I tried doing my home work before the purchase nothing was posted on any reviews or You Tube. Fits nicely now. Works great, wasn't that hard. You need to get custom battery cables made. No kit has 13 feet of cable in the box. Warn recommends directly to the battery. Hopefully this helps.

Awesome Winch. Easy install due to integrated solenoids, that alone is worth buying this winch. Run the Positive and Negative wires to the Battery, and plug in the remote/ switch control harness and you are up and running. I'll be purchasing another.

This is a awesome winch if you are looking for a winch good for A side by side. However it came with the wrong wiring harness, Had to get it direct from Warn !!!

I bought this Winch because I know Warn is a top product. I t looked great out of the box, I wired it directly to the battery and ignition switch, mounted great, and it doesn't work. I sent a message to Amazon, but Amazon used a 3rd party seller. Here is where it gets sketchty, When you go on the product on Amazon, it says right above the review stars "Visit the Warn store". I assumed it was direct from Warn, and there is no indication of 3rd party at all. I called Warn troubleshooting and explained how I hooked it up, and how I troubleshot it, and he said it sounds like a defective unit. It will take 1-2 months to send it to Warn and get it looked at. He said call Amazon and get a refund would be my best bet. But Amazon won't give me a refund because it's a 3rd party seller, which I didn't know, but they basically said, too bad, take it off, box it up and send it back and the seller will refund me. I won't get my refund until I remove it, box it and get it scanned, that's gonna be at least a couple weeks before I can even get another one unless I go ahead and pay for another one while I wait for this BS to play out.Also, the lady on the phone said this seller is no longer being used by Amazon because of them sending defective products. And she still told me they won't back it up because I bought from a 3rd party, even though I didn't know I was. Unbelievable.I've always told myself I shouldn't feed this monster called Amazon, and this just made it official, I will cancel my prime and never buy another product from them.

Winch does not direct fit a Honda Pioneer 1000. Although the winch dimensions seem like they'll directly fit to the original Warn winch, they won't. There are bends in the OEM bracket that interfere with the mounting of the winch and the wires on the back of the winch smash right up against another part of the original OEM bracket. You need to get the Warn mounting bracket part number 93790 for a direct fit to the Pioneer in the original mounting location.

Nice looking winch for my Maverick x3 xrs turbo r. Had incorrect wiring harness in box, called warn and they shipped correct one asap. Good to go.

I have this fitted to a large Suzuki rock crawler. It has no issues pulling the car out of wheel deep mud and uphill at same time. But it gets hot very quickly and then takes a long time to cool down. Have tea and biscuits ready while you wait for it to cool off.
