Absolutely identical to my late 90s winch, right down to the odd machine marks on the faces of it.It looks to be verry good quality. In hand it feels verry heavy.

I have a 1978 Warm 8274 and the original gear rusted onto the motor shaft. My motor was shot anyway so I got a different motor along with this and it works great.

High priced but almost everything is from Warn. Otherwise it fits the 20 spline shaft just fine.

I upgraded my old 8274 motor on a rebuild to the XP motor and it has the splined shaft, haven't had the opportunity to use it yet other than testing .. fits nicely on gear

Used this gear along with a new 12V XP 9000 motor to bring new life back into an old 8274 winch rebuild. Very happy with the performance.
