Great price compared to the big box store. I surface mounted mine as I was retrofitting in a 130 year old house on a budget. Easy to install since they push to fit connections. My Pex tubing locked right in. I've done 4 loads of laundry and have zero pipe hammering which is great! Kit comes complete with brackets for in wall stud mounting and decorative face plate, which I didn't need for surface mounting. Great item at a great price.

It states it's 1/2 in and when I went to home Depot I put a 1/2 in pipe on it it would not go on so I put a 3/4 in and it's too big so I don't know if this is a foreign job made thing
