Connect the hose to the adapter, make sure it is tight enough.
Tilt the pump into the water to drain air from the pump and hose.
Simple operation, plug pump in to turn on, unplug to turn off.
Unscrew and remove the base
Clean the base and impeller
Completely clean
Tighten the screws to fix the base

Used this to drain a small pond we are filling in. It started up and pumped as it should. Came with two different size of hose connections. I don’t know how long it will work, but it is working as it should. Well worth the money.

I have just installed this new pump into the pit at our basement as a replacement of the old pump. It discharges the water and works well so far. (Keep my fingers crossed!)It is TOO early to make my verdict for this product and let's see how long this pump will last.

i have this hooked to a 2 inch hose. moves the water quiet efficiently. have used it twice so far and has not disappointed. quiet and rather quick to drain the pool. don't throw it around and clean it when your done and im sure it will last

It does the job but the 10' power cord is too short, needs 20'

Bought 2. Took 2 days to get here. I've had more expensive pumps, yet none that pushes the water this pump pushes. I'm using one for a septic clean-out and ran it dry for 10 minutes and it didn't fail me. I bought 2 because I was sure I'd burn them both up eventually. I'm going to buy 2 more for my greenhouse.
