These filters first perfectly on my Brita filter base. After installing the filter, the usually grey carbon came out in the water at first just like the original Brita filters do. and then ran clear. While we have very good tap water where I live, I can tell the difference with the taste of the filtered water, it tastes cleaner and more refreshing somehow, smoother and more rounded and easy-drinking tasting. Very delicious, actually. I find the water flows through at a powerful volume, perhaps a slightly higher volume than the original Brita filter when new. This, combined with a brand I am unfamiliar with, makes me wonder if these filters are quite as good at filtering impurities as the original Brita filters. However, given that our already good tasting water seems to taste even better, this seems to indicate they work well, and I feel good about using these. I do appreciate being able to fill a pot or Keurig water tank quickly, and the strong flow makes me more likely to use the filtered water for coffee and cooking as well as drinking. The pack of three feels like a good value at the current price. Given the increasing presence of microplastics in the environment, I feel like consuming filtered water when possible is a small thing I can do to support my family’s health. I also feel like I will enjoy drinking water more/possibly drink more water because the taste is quite good.

This filter was easy to install, and is a little smaller than our old filter but does a great job! The water tastes great and the filter seems to also take away the smell. It is well made and a great value for the money. I will definitely reorder these when needed.
