These are really effective, as one of the sensors sensed a small leak coming from under my sink and the alarm was very loud and definitely got my attention. These are really essential for identifying leaks before they get out of hand. I bought several to put under our sinks and toilets. I’d strongly recommend these to any homeowner or renter, to avoid really severe leaks and costly damage. Great item for a very affordable price!

These are effective and LOUD! I ordered them after finding an unnoticed leak under my kitchen sink. Professional apartment complexes use things like this to catch leaks quickly to avoid water damage. You don’t even need standing water, mine reacted to a damp dish drying mat the other day. Highly effective, great gift for a kid with their first apartment, or elderly folks with parts of the house they may not check often.

Comes with all the batteries you need. I tested each one & they all worked immediately when in contact with water. Only a very small area on the upper surface appears sensitive to water so you'd have to have a drop land right on it. But the slightest amount of water underneath sets it off. Easy to disarm too. Reusable after reset (some alarms are not!) For bathrooms, under sinks, laundry room, by water heater, dishwasher, children's playroom, etc..

I made sure to test it out because I didn’t want to put it in near my sink and then miss a leak because it didn’t work. It worked really well. I think I’m going to buy more to put under all my sinks.
