I was so tired of leaky hoses, and this did the job I wanted. I did use tape around fitting, just so I wouldn't have to repeat process in case of a leak. I haven't had this set very long, but for now, it's great.

Worked wonderfully twice and then the holes seemed to rust or corrode and water wouldn't flow properly. The spray was perfectly for a huge broadcast of water but for unknown reason it then reduced to a tiny mist. I only bought it for the wand for a longer broadcast to water my large asparagus patch so it's absolutely worthless now. The small standard handle does work buy again, I wanted it for the wand. Cannot recommend. Waste of money

The main attraction for me with this set was the 18-inch watering wand as I have a variety of plants that need different types of watering but have different challenges for accessibility. This solves all that for me by giving me some extra reach without relying on heavy pressure via a normal sprayer to get water where I need it. The instructions for assembling the wand are on the back of the box and are pretty straightforward. The set also includes some extra washers and a pair of adapters to allow for connection to ordinary rubber hoses (without a threaded end), presumably for use with a pressure washer system or similar. The threaded female end in the handles takes a standard garden hose without any problems and creates a tight seal with no leakage. The handles also include a choke to increase the pressure and maintain a strong stream with all of the different settings. I particularly liked the comfort of the grip and the ease with which the thumb flow control operates, it's not too loose or stiff and has just the right amount of tension to take the setting you want and allow you to easily adjust as you move from plant to plant if needed. The wand features a ratchet neck that allows you to set the angle you need and doesn't slip at all during use. It's a compact wand design with flexibility in the spray settings that also stores easily while still attached to the hose. Some of the spray patterns perform better than others as you might expect but all of the standard options are there to fit your needs for both watering and using it to clean down a driveway, wash your car, etc. Both the regular hand sprayer and the wand head performed similarly with both expandable and regular garden hoses without any problems and provide a consistent watering control solution.

This is a review for RUODON brand Garden Hose Nozzle Combo Set, Include 18-Inch Watering Wand & 8-Pattern Heavy Duty Hose Sprayer, Metal Garden Hose Wand, High-Pressure Hose Sprayer with Thumb Flow Control- at time of review the set of 2 (one wand and one regular nozzle) are $29.99 (not counting any discounts running)- making each about a $15 value. I prefer trigger nozzles but the S.O. prefers a thumb nozzle for ease/staying on without holding anything and not using the tiny metal clip on most triggers that are hard to put in and release. We thought we would try these out. We are impressed. These are just as nice as similar nozzles you find at local hardware stores that cost $30 for just one! They have all the spray options and don't leak on our hoses. I like the thumb trigger even but he really likes it. The trigger is responsive and we get good pressure from a regular hose. We are currently using a silicone lightweight expadable hose so the nozzle will spray with less force with something other than a standard garden hose- but still works great for watering plants (might want a standard hose for washing cars or something needed more water pressure). The pattern lock clicks nicely into place, there have been no leaks at the hose/connector and we like the option of the wand and the regular trigger! We are definitely happy with these nozzles!
