This is a great waterhose wand_ It looks nice too, and is sturdy but light weight, with plenty of variable spray patterns_ Just make sure you detatch it from the waterhose and store it in a dry place before Winter arrives_ If you leave it attached to the waterhose during Winter then the parts will expand and you will have a busted, leaky wand_ Take care of it and it should last many years

Very nice garden wand. East to use. Very convenient on/off handle doesn't let water drip all over you while you do other gardening and you don't have to find a place to leave hose that continues to run water that you don't need at the time. Also nice not to have to run back to spigot to shut water off when not in use. The wand delivers in all kinds of different sprays. I can stand at one end of my yard and water the other side while staying on the sidewalk next to my yard. The settings are all the way from a fine mist to a powerful direct spray that shoots a long distance. Want to buy another one as a spare. Also would make a nice gift to someone who likes to garden.

Updated Review 6-21-24:The seller contacted me regarding my disappointing experience with their product and offered to replace it. I accepted the offer. The new one works well but the original one worked better when it worked.Likes: The size is perfect. Length and weight wise. I really like the trigger on this wand. It is very comfortable and easy to use. The head seems to be well made. Switching flow types is easy and there is a nice tactile click as you get to each spray pattern. The seller was proactive in fixing my issues which was nice.Dislikes: With the original wand, there was a noticeable difference between the center and full spray patterns that I use often. Center was a heavy, strong flow of water while center had a bunch of smaller, but still very strong streams. This was great for getting suborn dirt of my car. Unfortunately, there is almost no difference in the replacement wand. Center is almost exactly the came as full. Also, as others have noted, if I try to slow the stream by releasing the trigger slightly, there is a loud squeal. Using the flow knob instead works better.After my initial experience, I am still concerned about the long term quality of this wand. The plastic flow control valve seems like a major weak point but we will see how it holds up. For now, this is my go to wand. I took 1 star off for my initial experience and another for the few dislikes. If this replacement wand makes it thru the winter, I'll upgrade to 4 stars. Thank-you to the seller for replacing it.Original Review:Purchased August 2023. Used it for 3 months to water flowers and wash my car 2 or 3 times. As it got colder, I put it in my basement to keep it out of the freezing weather and keep the gaskets from drying out. I just pulled it out to wash my car and it leaked terribly from the flow control valve. Water shot out at least 2 feet. I tried to reseat the valve but that was useless. Basically this was a waste of $24.

There are so many garden wands but most seem to leak. My wife is an avid gardener so she needs a good garden wand and she really loves this one. It is light weight, easy to use and the controls and functions work great.

I have one of these that I bought last year, and I was happy with it. I ordered this one to give as a gift, and it leaked like crazy the first time it was used - water in every direction from the hose connection. Very disappointed. Unfortunately, because it was a gift, it is too late to return it. $30 worth of garbage.

So, it was only used for three months and then lived outside for one winter. Now it leaks like a sieve and is useless.It looks like a wand.It works almost like a wand ...for 3 months, that is.After that, it works like a half-blocked garden hose.Since my experience is that more expensive ones do not last significantly better, I simply bought another one, arguing that I am doomed to spend around $34 per annum on watering wands and associated taxes. A day after it arrived, my review went public. The distributor promptly contacted me and offered a refund. I accepted that and it duly went through within hours on Amazon.So, the Business Experience is good and the Product Experience is a bit sketchy. I'll revisit this subject after next Winter. This time, I'll keep the wand indoors through Winter, just in case our strange new -13C (9F) outdoors Winter was too much for the polymeric insides of the rotary head of this device. We are used to Winter now and then hitting -6C, but Winters have been getting colder over the last 5 years, finally killing pretty much my entire deck this last season. We've got dead shrubs and trees all around town from this last winter. Ask anyone with a garden over here; they know. Even the English laurels, a hardy weed "tree" by any standard, died. SO... AND THIS IS THE POINT...if this climate has become too cold for thousands of shrubs, trees and perennials, then, at -13C (9F), it is perhaps simply too cold for the watering wand head sealing structure to survive outdoors in Vancouver BC Winter.
