Designed to look, feel, and behave like a watermelon in water. Real watermelons are nearly neutrally buoyant: first sinking to the bottom then slowly rising to the top, making them ideal for all kinds of water games. Watermelon Ball JR lets players dribble, kick, bounce, pass, and intercept under water. The extremely durable vinyl membrane stands up to intense action, features that are sorely missing from real watermelons. When filled size is 6" (15.24 cm) dia and approximately 4.17 lbs (1.89 kg). I was skeptical about this but gave it a try and am so glad I did! Our whole family loves the watermelon balls- both big and small ones and it probably gets the most use. We’ve had them for over a year and they are extremely durable. They sit outside, have rolls across rocks or have been left in the pool overnight and still look and perform good as new! They are definitely underwater toys (heavy and dangerous if thrown or dropped outside the water) but we haven’t tired of bouncing and passing them underwater. It’s such a unique toy and we highly recommend them!

I wasnt sure what to think of these when my wife purchased them. We needed some new pool toys and she ordered them one day. They are great! I dont know how they came up with the idea, but they are a lot of fun and my kids love using them. The bigger watermelon ball sinks faster, bounces better and is more neutral under water. The smaller one is better for tossing around. We'd definitely buy again. So far they're very sturdy even with 5 of us playing with them.

I purchased the Watermelon Ball at the beginning of the summer, and it was the hit pool toy for the whoel summer for my kids aged 9 and 10. This innovative pool toy adds a whole new level of fun and excitement to our water activities.It has been incredibly durable. Its 6.5-inch size is perfect for the hands of older kids, providing a good grip for throwing and catching underwater. WIth its bright colors and design it is visually appealing.The Watermelon Ball can be dribbled, kicked, passed, and even bounced underwater, offering endless possibilities for creative water games.It was easy to inflate and fill with water. They include all the necessary tools and directions.Overall, the Watermelon Ball is a fantastic addition to our pool toys collection. It provided hours of entertainment. It's a refreshing twist on traditional pool toys.

Great buy for kids that need a change of pool toys. Inflates with water and takes about 5 minutes. Is the size of a watermelon and heavy. Kids loved it in a large pool with friends and in a backyard pool with siblings. Quality inflatable still shows no use.

All I ever hear when we are leaving for the pool is to make sure that I brought the ball. When we get to the pool the other kids want to know if we brought the ball. This is such an easy, fun way for kids to spend quality time in the pool together playing without any electronics necessary. The build quality and construction of this are perfect and you can travel with it just about anywhere. Plus it looks cute! We had no problem with any missing pieces as other reviews have mentioned.

This ball is a lot of fun in the pool, it’s easy to inflate and fill with water. It bounces under water well, the problem is I left it by the pool in the sun and after about a week the rubber started to get really sticky almost like it’s covered in pitch so I had to get rid of it. I would recommend as long as you put it away somewhere in between uses.

It surprised me and is actually a pretty cool toy in the pool. You can dribble it on pool floor like a basketball, bounce it off the walls, or pass it underwater to someone. I find that a smooth, long motion with your hands sends the watermelon off at the highest speed. Have been using it months now and still looks new.

I bought the watermelon ball for my 14 year old grandson. They have just put in a swimming pool and I knew they would get a lot of ordinary pool toys for Christmas. I thought that this was different enough to create a bit of excitement. I wasn't wrong! The three grandchildren are all loving it and the ability to play with it underwater. It definitely outshone the other pool toys on offer! Would recommend.

We brought this on a car vacay to the Okanagan and the family had a blast with it! It’s very heavy once filled and works exactly as described. Lots of fun!
