Fixed my problem. Normal helocoils didn’t work due to previous owner damaging insert threads. Works great but they need a few notches on the top plus an installation tool. Otherwise you need to use a spark plug to install. The notches plus tool would also help if you need to remove.

It worked for what I needed. An emergency repair on a cylinder that that went straight up and down. Very easy to thread. The tap worked very well with some wd40. I did use some jb weld on the inside threads to hold the insert in. Only a couple miles so far, but its worked great and held up through a couple heat cycles.
