Function:
- Measure a variety of data: This energy meter supports the display of multiple data, including watts, current, voltage, frequency, power factor, apparent power, maximum/minimum power, cumulative time, power consumption, electricity cost.
- One-click switching interface: Press "M" to display KWH and electricity cost. Press "+" to display Watt (active power) and VA (apparent Power). Press "OK" to display true RMS voltage Vrms and true RMS current Arms. Press "-" to display Hz ( frequency) and PF (power factor). Press "↺" to display the maximum and minimum power. Press "OK" for 3s to display the complete accumulated time.
- Multiple alarm functions: Three alarm functions can be set, overload alarm, KWH alarm and cost alarm.
- Memory function: Automatic data storage after power failure.
- Data deletion function: Press and hold the “+” and “-” buttons for 3s to clear accumulated data but keep the parameter settings.
- Restore factory settings: Press and hold the "↺" button for 3s, the accumulated data and parameter settings will be deleted.

So much to like! Replaces a benchload of equipment for the price of a good dinner out.Accurate and good response time.Easy to select pairs of measurements displayed, at the push of a button: kWh & cost, Watts & Volt-Amperes, Volts & Amperes, Line Frequency & Power Factor, and Minimum & Maximum Watts.Easy to set: cost per kWh, overload threshold alarm (# watts exceeded), kWh-alarm threshold exceeded, and cost-alarm threshold exceeded.Backlight timeout is easily set and can be set to never timeout. Very handy and doubles as a night-light.CONS: 1) I would prefer Volts & Line Frequency be displayed together as voltage-sag and reduced line frequency can indicate an impending brownout condition due to excessive demand from the Grid. Presently displays Power Factor & Line Frequency which really have no meaningful relationship to each other.2) Cannot select which measurements are paired.3) Minimum watts measurement can snag an arbitrary low reading as a load (such as a coffeemaker) is switching off and the the reading is ramping down. Mine is currently showing 0.1 watts even though the minimum measureable load is 2 watts. This behavior renders the Minimum Watts value meaningless. No issues with the Maximum Watts. Apart from these minor snags the unit is really quite good and very useful, and you can't beat the price for all that it does.User Manual is well-written and easy to follow.Note: one reviewer says the elapsed time is limted to 24 hours. Not so (read the manual). The limit is 9999 days. Another reviewer says the kWh cost doesn't have enough digits for the price she pays per kWh. To get around this, enter 1/10 the per-kWh cost and then multiply the total by 10 when you want the actual cost figureA SOLID FIVE STARS for this unit. I will definitely be buying more to track other electrical loads on the property.

Has been very useful and measures even small parasitic loads. Retains watt-hour memory even when off which is useful for switched outlets. Seems to provide better information than some similar meters including power factor and milliamps.

Seems to be pretty accurate. Helped me identify my power consuming appliances. I got rid of my 2008 freezer..saved me $48 a month!

Easy to use, but appears to read higher than the gage on my solar unit. Okay for this application since it reads higher. Not sure which reading is correct.

This one works as advertised, very simple buttons and it is backlit!I returned two other similar products that did not live up to their hype.Just buy a little extention cord to help place it so you can read it easier.

I bought this to check the energy consumption of different devices, and it does a great job.The only thing I miss is some kind of backlight on the display, as it can be quite hard to read unless it's well lit. To be fair the description didn't promise a backlit, so the product still definitely delivers on its promises.

De achtergrondverlichting is een gemis. Kwh weergave moet eigenlijk een digit bij zijn geweest. Gebruikt voor verbruikt voor meten van de warmtepomp (buitenunit) Trouwens de verschillende waarden zijn door een heel logisch menu ( lijkt op een verkenner balk ) heel snel vinden.
