Data Memory Function
KETOTEK kilowatt usage meter has a built-in high-precision chip, which can save data automatically in case of power failure. Save data automatically (Electricity quantity, cost, electricity cost, cumulative time, alarm parameters). Data is stored permanently.
Data Hold
You can remove this electricity usage monitor from the socket to adjust and view the data.
Multiple Protection
When the power, power consumption or energy cost reaches the set value, the "OVERLOAD", "KWh ALARM" or "COST ALARM" will be displayed on the screen and the LED indicator will flash to to warn users.
Backlit LCD Screen
This power meter is easy to read and operate in dark areas. The backlight time of the screen can be adjusted (10 minutes default). Press DOWN button to turn off the backlight. Press any key to activate the backlight.
Compact Size
Type B plugs are rated at 15 amps. This power meter has a compact body design. When it is plugged into the upper outlet, it does not interfere with the use of the lower wall outlet.
Auto Cost Calculator
After you set the cost, this watt meter can calculate the power expenses of the measured appliance automatically. Helps you know more about the consumption of your appliances and helps reduce your electricity bill.
More Functions:
- Reset
If the screen does not appear normally or the buttons do not respond, please press the reset button to restore the factory settings.
- Delete measurement data
If you need to clear the measurement data or measure different household appliances, you can press and hold the DOWN button for 5 seconds until the display flashes, and then press the MODE button to clear the measurement data only and keep the measurement settings.

The Cumulative Data can be cleared without clearing the Settings Data, which includes (a). the Maximum Overload Wattage setting, (b). the Cost per KWh setting, (c). the Cost Alarm setting, and (d). the KWh Alarm setting.I didn't check all the full pages detail, including to the bottom of each page, in the online description pages on Amazon.Now..., it is truly one of the best Plug-In Wattmeter in its price range.

I bought this gadget as a toy but it's actually paying for itself. My incandescent landscape lights turned out to be the biggest Watt-hog of all, at $100 a year. Switching to LEDs should cut that to $15 per year.Here are my results for other household appliances:Clothes washer - 0.67 cents per loadElectric blanket - 3 cents per dayDesktop computer - 5 cents per dayDishwasher - 7.5 cents per loadRefrigerator - 19 cents per dayA lot of vendors sell something similar to this. I picked this model because of the bright, readable display, and I'm pleased with that. I had to reset the device right away to get it to work, and I've had to reset it again since then. And I have to say, the instructions in microscopic print in seven languages are totally useless. But the unit seems to be well-made and it does everything it should do. I recommend it.

Very impressed by this AC outlet monitor and meter!For the money, this thing is gold!Helped me figure out why my LED shop lights were flashing every so often. The voltage was varying from 122v down to 116v. And everytime the lights flashed and flickered, it read a low voltage.I haven't utilized it to monitor how much power it uses over a period of time yet.I did use it to see how many watts the LED lights were using, and it was accurate according to what the lights were rated at.Good product. GREAT value!

It also has kilowatt usage tracking so it counts how many kilowatt hours you use while you time it.It shows the peak draw and the low draw to show you the draw range of the plugged in appliances.It has a light up screen while plugged into the wall.Those are the main ones i used to find out how much draw my appliances were using.has more stuff though.

This Electric Usage Monitor is a simple enough tool for finding out just how much electricity a particular appliance is using. It can be particularly useful for seeing how much an item on 'standby' can leach.Setting up is not difficult with just a few button presses to input the rate your energy company is charging for a unit of energy.There are 7 modes to this device, all listed above in the advert, with perhaps the most pertinent one being (in these days of astronomical energy prices) the actual cost of the power used on a device over a period of time.It fits well on a double socket and does not impair access to any switches. The display is uncluttered and very readable although if looked at from an angle it does become more difficult to read - a backlight might have helped in this respect.I assume this device is accurate. I do have a similar device from another brand that gives pretty similar readings, so I am happy with the read out this unit provides. There is a memory to this device which holds on to any settings while a socket is turned off, although how long this lasts I am not sure as up to now my device has been in constant use. this unit is supposed to keep working unplugged, but mine has not...so gotta take readings while it's plugged in - and need to use flashlight on phone usually to see it. but otherwise has been useful to better understand electric usage in the house from all the major appliances and electronics - anything that plugs into an outlet. reset with each appliance, take a picture of the readout after a day or two, record the results in a spreadsheet and add em up...got pretty close to my actual avg daily usage per meter readings.

The written instructions do not explain how to reset just the surrent measurement, for example usage for the day, without resetting the whole thing and having to re-enter the cost. It can be done, but you have to look elsewhere for example, come back to the Amazon page. I needed a magnifying glass to read not just the instructions, but also the units on the display! I wish I had bought the backlit model. There are similar devices at half the price which are much easier and intuitive to use. However, being able to see the current power usage as well as the cost, is a plus.

This seems to be quite accurate as the wattage displayed is close to what the appliance should be using. I have used another meter which wasn't very close to what it should be. It's easy enough to use and setup, the only thing really to setup is setting the tariff. There are over options such as setting an alarm for cost and overload, but I haven't needed to use these so my set up was simple.It also comes with a small plastic tool for pressing the reset button which is handy. It doesn't have a backlight which isn't a problem for me, but some people may prefer to have this as it can make it easier to read.
