It’s make candles creations so much easier, but one really minus, that It doesn't have that funnel that helps pour in one stream and not spill, so most of the time I spill the wax.

I have yet to use it yet, but it’s too small for me. I need to find something bigger and melts faster and hold more wax for my candle making hobby/business. I will be returning this for something bigger and can hold more wax so that I can make multiple candles at once. Also, the gloves are really cheap. I honestly don’t think it will protect from burns.

I recently got the Wax Melter for candle making and I have had fun with this product. The candle making supplies included in this kit are gloves, a long spoon and a hot pad. The Candle Melting Pot is for beginners like me. A melting pot like this, with a LED temperature display, is so much more convenient than using a double boiler and you have to monitor the temperature. The included stirring spoon and anti-scalding pad, plus the gloves are also convenient for making it safer to work with the hot wax.I think this candle making kit is a good value for the price and for the convenience it gives me. I recommend it if you want to get started with candle making. Not only just getting started but any level of candle making.

Chacked it with two external, temperature probesDoes not come up to 257......ever. But, it does workgood enuff for what its for
