Tried to do pom poms with a cardboard loom, but this is superior. The instructions were a little misleading at first, but that might just have been me. The pom poms came out great, my five year old granddaughter made some easily.

This didn't come with any guidance on how to use it. Youtube came to the rescue but I wish I'd had more info from the company and tips on the best yarn to buy etc. Finally, the scissors this came with are really low quality and the blade came unglued and pulled out anytime there was any thickness on the tool, which is necessary to make a nice pom pom.

I remember making Pompoms as a child with cardboard and having the pompoms fall apart if the cardboard was used to much. I am able to make controlled sizes and it seems quicker than I remember. I had one pompom fall apart but that was my fault because I forgot to tie the yarn off before I opened the pompom maker. This would make a great gift for crafters young and old.

I was so interested in this product, I bount it and the clover Pom Pom makers to compare the difference. This product does the job, but does feel cheap and light. The clover Pom Pom makers are still better quality. But both get the job done. Easy to use, if you follow YouTube videos. I have bought similar crafting supplies that came with the scissors, even though my actual package was missing the scissors. The scissors are complete trash and are dull af.

The instructions on the back are poorly translated to English- the pictures do not properly depict the product, nor do the instructions make any sense. I had to go on YouTube to find videos and figure out how to use it.
