The product was good. Looks great on the truck. Installing it was a nightmare!! It took us at least an hour. The hardware to put it on the truck were a joke to say the least!! My husband had to do a make shift for at least 2 holes. The hardware just didn't work! Also, the hood of the truck has to be closed a lot harder now. We had one on our other truck, it was a dream to install, I did it myself 5 mins flat. Not this one. Be prepared to have patience and a lot of time. I wouldn't buy it again.

I have been waiting almost a year to find this item that would fit my 2023 Night Edition RAM dually.None of the other manufacturers of this item made it to fit the sport hood on my model truck. I am a woman and I installed this by myself with the fasteners provided in under an hour. It’s perfect! Very happy with my purchase and a great price

To start with, I chose this Weather Tech product because it looks the best and I wanted a low profile look but still be able to clean easily underneath. I began mounting it by following the instructions. No-go. I tried three times, still no-go. The six little fasteners were provided, one screw head was broken. Not a bid deal but the fasteners would only fit on the end holes. I went to auto parts store and got longer ones, they still did not want to work. I made another trip for a different size, still no-go. I went to the best auto body shop in town as recommended by the auto parts store (plus I had excellent previous service by the same auto body shop) and they had trouble with the stock fasteners a could not get them to work. They had their own fasteners that were longer. Between the two of us, one holding the hood while the other pushed and tapped hard with a couple of hand tools, we finally got it in place.I am mechanically inclined to fix many things but this project was not set up for success. I recommend some different fasteners that will work for the majority of folks that can do it themselves. This job should have only taken a half hour, not four by having to run around from one end of town to the other, spending time and fuel money plus paying the auto body shop $10 for restocking fee for the fasteners that worked right the first time. Even the auto body shop employee said that those fasteners were the wrong size. Fortunately the auto body shop did a kind deed for the day and did not charge me to install it. I am grateful for their kindness. That $10 was well spent.

2022 RAM 3500 Longhorn. Once installed, it looks great! Installing though is 10x times harder than it needs to be, and the hardware supplied with the guard is absolute CRAP! I've never seen a plastic screw in my life...until now! Really??? C'mon, WeatherGuard, you can do better than this!!Okay, so here's the skinny...this is a nice product, and it's worth the money. BUT, you WILL need the tools to remove today's modern plastic body and trim clips. You will also need a mirror! To install this you first have to remove the plastic retaining pin clips from the hood insulation (about 7-8 of them depending on your truck). You WILL break almost all of them getting them out; they're designed to break upon removal (so you need the replacement ones in the kit...IF they didn't suck so bad) (which means you need other, aftermarket, ones.) The guard slips in between the hood insulation and the hood metal. You have to do it this way, else your hood won't shut properly. So, here's the challenge...you've got the guard shoved between the hood insulation and the hood, and you're trying to line up 7-8 holes which you can't see (because the guard blocks your view). Enter the mirror. One person has to hold the mirror (and a bright light), while the other person tries to line up the hole in the guard, with the hole in the insulation, with the hole drilled into the hood metal. And then, you have to push all that together, and run this cheap-ass plastic screw up into this plastic clip which is supposed to expand when the screw threads in. Well, what happens is...the screw either breaks, or immediately strips (rendering both the screw AND the clip useless). They only give you the exact number of screws and clips you need, so if you bust one you're SOL. BUT...if you're handy, you'll figure out there IS a fix (hopefully without busting any more clips). And, the fix is to use metal screws with the plastic inserts (hope you're reading this, WeatherTech!). I think they're about #8 screws, and I used some pan head sheet metal screws.Armed with the mirror, a bright light, some patience, and some sheet metal screws...this thing goes on easy and it looks like a million bucks. But I guarantee, you'll start out this project with high hopes, the devolve into cussing up a storm, and then figure out what WeatherTech SHOULD have included in the install kit. As for looks fit and finish, I'd give this 5 stars, but because of the absolutely terrible install kit I can't rate it that high. Sorry. And hope this helps you!

Looks great and fits perfectly on my truck. However, weather tech should provide extra rivets because they are difficult to secure properly. If you follow the instructions the rivets do not catch easily and you end up wasting alot of the provided fasteners. I went through four rivets before I could get just two to fasten. I plan to purchase some extra rivets so I can secure the remaining connection points.

Deflector it self ok hard to flex and mount.Fastners included are junk and not enough. Only six included however you need to remove the molding and look em fastners will break off. Spend way too much time installing do to bad fastners

I really don’t know what all the bad reviews are about installation. I’m 5’6†and did this install myself in about an hour. It does take some time as the mounting system is a little more in depth, but follow the instructions and look up a video online. Looks great and fits great!

I'm going to coat the bug deflector with vinyl to give it matching colour with my truck.

Let me start by saying it does as it's supposed to and does look good.that being said the hardware it comes with is a joke you will have to buy better clips and holes did not tend to line up exact so there was some drilling involved. overall the install should have been a lot quicker and easier but fitment just wasn't precise wasn't the worst but wasn't the best after sorting out the alignment of the holes and buying different mounting clips it went fast and looks good overall I would still buy this again as I belive its the best for my sport style hood.
