These are very nice quality rings for the money. In fact, it's difficult to imagine that such machining can be done on a product that's this inexpensive. The design is good too. With a lot of rings that are asymmetrical, with more than 180 degrees of ring coverage on top and less on the bottom, the top clips onto the scope and inevitably scratches the scope tube. The rings hide the scratches, but if you ever move the scope or sell it, the scratches are ugly. Not so with these rings. The upper rings are not a tight clip-on fit, but they clamp down nicely and secure the scope once the socket head cap screws are tightened.Nobody is going to use these rings to mount a $2500 scope, but for the budget minded shooter, these are great rings that do all you need them to do for most applications.I used these rings to mount a $130 Sightron scope to a $198 (new, after rebate)Thompson Center Compass rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. For a $350 ultra budget precision rifle, these rings were perfect. All manufacturers of scope rings need to do a better job of communicating the critical height dimension. For rings like these that mount to a Picatinny rail, the manufacturer and all retailers need to specify the distance from the top of the rail to the bottom of the rings, and it'd also be helpful to know the distance to the middle of the rings even though that can be easily calculated. It's bad enough that there are no height standards, and the height of medium rings varies greatly even between different models of rings offered by the same manufacturer, but not to tell us what the critical dimensions are is unforgivable, and we should hold their feet to the fire on this issue. I think they deliberately create confusion so they can sell us more than one set of rings. I call shenanigans!

I am no expert and this is certainly not high end. But I got it to replace the cheap mounts that came with an inexpensive Simmons scope. It is a good match for that and has held up well and maintained zero on a 22 rifle.

These are high quality, low profile scope rings for mounting a 1-inch diameter scope tube close to the barrel on a rifle with 20 mm Weaver or Picatinny style mounting rails. The description calls them medium height, but there is apparently no standardization across this industry, or even within individual brands, in some cases, on what the terms "low", "medium", and "high" profile mean. Very few vendors (or manufacturers) list the height of their rings, which makes it difficult to compare rings and select the best fit for a specific gun/scope combo. These rings are 4 mm, or 0.16 inches (that's between 3/16 and 5/32 inches) from the top of the mounting rail surface to the bottom of the saddle that holds the scope tube. I'll attach photos to show what I'm talking about. This is a standard measurement ("saddle height") that should always be listed in the scope ring specs, but rarely is.There are two reasons that saddle height is important. First, the rings need to be high enough to allow the bell of the scope (the large, forward end of the scope) to sit above the gun's barrel and receiver without touching the gun. But you also need it to be low enough to allow your eye to naturally line up with the center of the eyepiece when your cheek is firmly anchored to the stock. Consistent accuracy is nearly impossible if you have to lift your head off the stock to see into the scope. These well-built rings are a good fit for my Ruger American (.270 Win, in this case) topped with a 3-9 x 40 Nikon scope. The quad design is a bit unusual, with two top rings per base, but I'm sure that they will hold the scope securely with no torque on the scope tube. There seems to be a bit of confusion in the product description over the material that they are made from - aluminum or steel?. The rings themselves are "aircraft grade" aluminum. The screws are steel (attracted to a magnet), so perhaps that's what the product description is talking about. This Amazon offer doesn't offer a choice between aluminum or steel rings, as implied in the specs, although Weaver may make both versions. These come in a Weaver-branded package that appears to be legit (probably not counterfeit, but I'm not sure I would know how to tell). They've been making scopes and mounts for a long time and they know what they are doing. These seem like good quality rings and I have full confidence in them.Use the "Helpful" button to let me know if you find my review helpful.

There are a lot of similarly designed scope rings on the market, but Weaver's are just a cut above, and it's attention to detail that makes the difference. Weaver designed the "Weaver mount" so it's not surprising they get the details right. One of those details is the use ow two separate upper ring segments on each ring, rather than the single piece with four screws seen on other mounts. This feature allows you to tighten each segment separately without affecting the other. If you've used other four-screw rings you've noticed that tightening one set loosens the other an cants the segment, putting uneven stress on the scope tube. It also leads to over-tightening, as you tighten first one set of screws, and then the other, and so on, back and forth. Weaver Quad Locks don't have this problem. They'e well made, well machined, and don't cost that much more than the junky rings. A great deal all around- I own three sets.

Love these rings. Very compact, Light, minimalist, yet way strong enough. Well done.

I like these rings, they ended up working well with my American Ranch Gen 2 and a Whiskey3 3-9x40 but they are not medium. If the scope had been any larger or had to move farther back they would not have worked, these rings are low, like really really low, the housing for the windage and elevation assembly almost touches the rail. The bell housing almost touches the barrel.

These were much cheaper than anywhere else. They did work very well, too.

The rings are well constructed. I didn't expect much for a product that cost so little and that was made in China. The machining is well done with no imperfections, and the paint is evenly applied and seems durable. I unfortunately didn't get to try the rings on a gun as they were too low for the scope I was trying to mount. Comparing these to a set of "Low" rings I have, they sit at the same level.

Why spend more? these rings worked super, fit scope perfect and straight. Had the gun hitting the bulls eye in 8 shots.

I got these rings in medium. They seem sturdy and fit nice in weaver rails. However, these medium rings are very low. Wouldn't even fit a 40mm scope on my savage 93 .22 WMR. I measured the distance on the rings from the bottom of the scope to the top of the receiver and it's only 4mm. Beware that these MEDIUM scope rings are much lower than other mediums out there. Would have been nice if the dimensions were included in the description.
