- Due to the change in which receivers have #6 and #8 screws from Savage, we recommend you remove and measure one of the screws prior to purchasing our scope mount. This will ensure that you receive the correct screws necessary for your specific application.
- We recommend reviewing our listing below for predrilled #8 mounts if you require #8 screws. Our 8-40 and 6-48 screws utilize the same head design, which allows us to use the same countersink in all of our mounts.
- This mount is drilled for and provided with 6-48 Hex Head screws.
- We recommend measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches
- Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite

I went with the 0 MOA Picatinny rail. I had purchased a scope from an individual and needed a rifle to mount it on. Only problem was with the two piece mount the scope rings would not reach. This item went on an older Savage .243. Had to Google to ensure that this was a long action rifle. This rail was a perfect fit. Screws seem short but they worked perfectly. Also comes with recommended torque specifications. A little blue locktite and it was done. Scope is mounted and leveled, just have to get it out to the range and sight in. Highly recommend if you need a picatinny rail for your rifle. Shipping was fast came before expected.

Does not indicate anywhere but the Q/A what firearms this fits, whereas the ad itself indicates it fits "any long action round back with an ejection port". This did not fit my gun as I bought it based on the advertisement of it fitting any Long Action, round back savage. Attempted to have it returned and was told that it was my fault I hadn't looked at the Q/A and instead relied on the advertisement given by the company, they told me I could return it but they would not pay shipping, which in turn would cost me over half the total cost of the item I'm returning. Make sure you read the whole advertisement and every minor detail otherwise this seller will make it very difficult for you to get any of your money back.
