At first, I was skeptical after reading some of the one-star reviews. However, it does work for me, and we do get a fantastic improvement in service. It appears that there are a bunch of factors in how well this will work for your individual situation, 1) Your cell phone provider, 2) Distance from tower, 3) Terrain, 4) Line of site. These factors probably account for most of the one-star reviews. My Situation: No line-of-site to tower, signal strength -120Dbm (very bad), very mountainous terrain, 5+ miles to the nearest tower. I had one bar inside, phone calls were extremely unreliable, to the point of not being usable, texts would occasionally send/receive if given enough time, 3G & 4G data were non-existent. No significate difference outside the house.First, align the antenna properly with a signal strength app, and set it up according to the directions, height, distance between booster and antenna, etc.…After the installation we improved to 3-4 bars. Signal strength now at ~-100Dbm+, and bounces around, sometimes better, sometimes worse. Calls work great, 1 dropped call in 20 mins, (which is perfectly acceptable due to the remoteness of the house), texts are consistent and reliable, I would say 100% improvement on the performance of texting. Data was the biggest shock,! Yes data does work now (most of the time). The phone shows 4G and speed tests shows 400-600Kbs, however data does seem to fade out at times, again perfectly acceptable over what we did have, which was nothing for data. We have Verizon so I aligned it to the nearest Verizon tower, our AT&T friends said they did see a small improvement, T-Mobile users said no change at all. The nearest T-Mobile tower is probably many miles away, if there even is one. So, all the T-Mobile weboost haters probably need to direct that hate to their cell phone provider, not weboost. T-Mobile people, I would figure out where your nearest tower is before buying.I think this booster falls under the, “your mileage may vary category†and depends a lot on the factors mentioned above. The one thing that is completely bogus is their claim about the square footage coverage for the house. This was with the 1 Room Weboost, I have found you need to keep within 10-15 feet of the inside antenna, no matter the room size. Once you figure this out, it’s not a problem. The description should read, “covers 1 very small roomâ€. Perhaps the multi-room systems have better coverage.Bottom line is, yes it did work great for us!

First off I'll say I skeptical about paying $400 for a booster and secondly they all had them same sales pitch and thirdly most of the reviews for any of the boosters I was looking at were vague and some hard to believe. But I found what I was looking for and it's this WeBoost Home. What sold me was when I talked with tech support, they explained to me that the weak signal I was getting, -106db outside of my mobile home would be hard to amplify and if it did go up I would have to be within 5 ft of the indoor antenna. They we're helpful and very professional, but most of all I wasn't talking to someone in India or someone with a Chinese accent. So I would recommend you calling their tech support if you have doubts. I ordered and received it in 2 days. I live in the mountains of E. Tenn. and for those that live in rural areas you no how irritating it can be to get a signal, -106db outside my mobile home and -120 inside. If your not sure how to check your signal I recommend the LTE Discovery App as well as the Meteor App, I tried other ones that give cell tower locations but the best way for me was to turn the antenna until I got the best signal. Getting ahead of myself. Once I received the package I had it installed and working in about an hour. I installed the outside antenna on a 20 ft pole in front of my kitchen window, I did this because of the ease turn the pole. Ran the cable through the wall and connected the booster the the inside antenna. As soon as I plugged it in I got 4 green bars on the booster and my signal inside went from -120 to -95 and that was just guessing where the cell tower was. On my phone I went to 1 bar to 4 bars. The thing is the tech support was almost correct about the signal boost the only thing was I can use my phone anyplace in my trailer when before I had to be next to a window or outside, so the inside signal is greater than 5 ft from the antenna. Everything on my cell phone, Moto Z4 Verizon, works better and no lost calls. I also have a mobile hotspot hotspot and I can watch Amazon and Netflix, both set on the lowest video quality to save data, but the movies look like HD. Surfing the internet is quicker as well and YouTube just the same. I have no complaints about this WeBoost Home it's better than I expected. It may not work for you or where your living, but give WeBoost tech support a call and talk to them. This particular model is for a small home or apartment. I will say this, I'm not being paid or compensated for saying this, it's the straight up truth, I've gained nothing accept a much better signal and I've not thrown my phone against the wall🤔ðŸ˜

We happen to live right on the intersection of literally every signal dropping out and every major provider not servicing our particular street. In our particular situation, we were worried our limited signal strength (we could pull a few bars in several places and were totally dead in others) would be a barrier but after getting this today and installing, I’m writing this from an iPad with full bars and LTE service! Speed tests on phones and devices showed a SIGNIFICANT increase in both upload and download speeds.A few things that might help:1) This is fairly easy to install for what it is. It is not a “plug and play†device. You’ll need to spend some time on the installation and making sure to locate your nearest tower and working with some basic tools. It’s not difficult but it also is not “easy†if you’re not used to installing pieces of equipment like this.2) The device is directional - it matters where you point the outdoor unit and it matters where you place the inside unit. Some careful planning could be necessary to make sure you’re getting optimal results.3) If you’re in a rural area far from a tower, your signal strength will still be affected by things like weather, etc. but we’re seeing noticeable gains consistently.Worth the money. I was skeptical. But when it powered on and the bars instantly leapt, I was on board.
