This blanket is perfect for its size. My 11 y.o. loves to take it on travels to hotels and carries it around the house during movie nights. It’s a decent weight that’s not too heavy but gives a good “cuddle†for the user. I am considering getting one for my dog and myself.

I understood the size I was getting when I ordered this. It’s great for upper body weight without being too big or bulky to travel with. I do wish the manufacturer would make another version, just slightly bigger. Still small enough to travel with, but a little longer so it covers the whole torso.

The few weighted blankets I’ve tried in the past feel stiff, didn’t drape over my body the same way the ads showed it would, and the glass beads inside were loud & lumpy.This lap blanket, on the other hand, feels like a soft fleece blanket filled with sand. The ceramic beads are small enough & the stitching is tidy enough to distribute the weight evenly.My hips get really sore in my sleep due to a connective tissue disorder & I deal with anxiety, and my partner is on the spectrum & weight is soothing to him, so it’s versatile in our house!It’s so comfortable that I ended up ordering a larger, 15lb weighted minky dot blanket from the same company. I’ll be keeping this one for, well, my lap.I’m wondering if a 15lb twin-sized blanket will be heavy enough (and long enough to share), but this lil 7lb thing is heavier than I anticipated, and the perfect size for draping over my hip for sleeping, which helps the joints stay in place overnight. If it was bigger at this weight, it would be hard to roll over underneath.I highly recommend this for anyone with chronic pain, illness, insomnia, anxiety, etc. who need something portable to keep their symptoms in check a little. I’m really glad this is the one I got!

I have a large weighted blanket and use every night but thought it would be nice to have something for me in the office. This lap version is great. I even fold it in half and use it on my neck. It’s a great weight for lap use and folded in half for my neck. It’s soft and nice quality. It doesn’t get me too hot either. Love it!!!

I bought this to lay on my lap while reading and gaming, I went for the dark gray since the pattern looked like stone work to me and its so cozy! I also roll it up and lay it over my shoulders when they are feeling tense. Its a very practical size to lay on your chest and not over heat or feel like your limbs are trapped or held down I can imagine it being comforting for Children Adults and Animals who are nervous as well!

This blanket has improved my sleep greatly. I like that it’s small enough to put in my washing machine. I’ve washed it twice on a delicate cycle and hung it to dry and it has held up well. It does hold a lot of body heat though, so if you get too hot while you sleep it might be uncomfortable for you. In the morning, it is almost as warm as a heating pad on the lower settings.

This lap blanket is super soft and cozy. It's the perfect size and weight, and more manageable than full blankets. I'm putting a second one on my Christmas list to have when I read in bed. Maybe even a third, to have for guests. It's perfect for those times when you need a hug, but no one is on hand. Who can you buy one for?
