°F-°C Conversion
You can toggle the digital display’s temperature unit via the toggle button on the station. This way, you can follow soldering tutorial taught in both °C or °F.
Sleep Mode
This function makes the soldering iron idle at a lower temperature setting when you stop using the soldering iron for longer than 10 minutes. This will reduce unnecessary wear for your soldering tip, and heating element last longer.

It's better then most I've had. It heats up quick. Super easy to control. Plastic quality is a 6/10 but it comes with enough tips for every diy job I need it for. It preforms as intended. The gippy feet keep it stable and from moving around. It's a good bag for your buck imo.

Just received this today. Working on one of my bass guitars and this soldering station is a great Value! Item was well packed and there was no damage at all. All of the parts and pieces were included. My first use, I'd powered up the station and set the temp. at about half. Since the 1970's, I have only used irons based on wattage so this station is a 110 Watt soldering iron so halfway should be 55 watt.The tip that comes installed works great for general purpose work. There are plenty of tips included with the unit. There is a fine point tip for SMT/SMD work. I really like the solder dispenser on top of the unit. The tip cleaner is that tinsel looking stuff so no more sponges and water. At half power I was able to easily solder ground wires onto the case of a pot. Very happy with this station. I've always wanted one of those that start with a "W" but for just around the shop, I could not justify the cost. The cost of this station with what it does and how well it performs, is a great value. Well done WEP

I’m really happy with this soldering iron. Heats up very fast. I like the temperature gauge. Well made. Electric cord could be longer.

I have screwed up a lot but this is a solid product. Easy to clean as long as you watch a few videos. I understand the concept but I'm not good at the control. The temperature is on point but I don't know what temperature to use when I'm actually trying to fix a product.Product literally comes with everything you need to start. I'm sure this would be a great product for people who already know what they're doing, But it's pretty simplified if you have the basic idea. I guess the more you fail the more you learn. It's not the product, it's the user. I really do enjoy this product. There are many videos online about this particular product and how to use it. But still it takes some time to acclimate to the whole soldering experience. I feel it's a great product to learn from. Lots of trial-and-error, but im having fun learning

I think this would be better for wires. I got it because it said it works great with stained glass. While it gets the job done it doesn't stay hot enough to create smooth soldering lines. The end also burns up really quickly.

This unit was the A model . The b model has a temp set switch. But regardless I liked the temp selection rotary knob as I was able to dial in the correct temp for my soldering work.
