Bought the heavier gauge so I can put some weight on the line and it works fantastic! With electricity getting so expensive I decided to put up a line up in the backyard and have used it several times. I wipe it clean before I load it as there is so much dust, etc. in the air, then put a whole load on it and it doesn’t sag very much, and we are talking towels which are super heavy. Great that it is from a USA company too and worth every penny. Thanks!

Good clothesline cord. Mine lasted a number of years out in the sun and elements and only broke because of my overloading it with too heavy a tarp. Keep them taught but not overly stretched and they're remarkably durable. I always look carefully for USA made products, and a previous reviewer said they were made in America, but the seller cleverly put an inventory sticker over the part of the label that read "Made in China". That was disappointing and will keep me from buying from them again, but in the meantime, the clothesline works out well.

I initially bought 2 100-foot lines and 1 50-foot line since another reviewer said they ended up needing 250 feet for their clothesline. I installed the first 100 foot line and it wasn't long enough to finish stringing the last 2 rows on one side. I decided not to install the line on the other side since it was getting dark, and packed it in for the night. When I went out the next day the line had relaxed enough that I could tighten it and finish stringing that side with more than enough to spare on each end to tie it down properly.I used that formula on the other side. Strung up the next 100-foot line (and it was short) and left it alone overnight. Tightened it the next morning and was able to cover all the rows. I ended up not needing the extra 50-foot line.I did need to tighten both lines again after hanging my first load of washing, and I'm sure I'll need to repeat that periodically, but I used the clothesline knot tieing off the lines, and they're easy to undo and re-tighten.Overall, I'm satisfied with the lines and the quality.

I have an umbrella clothesline I inherited from my Mother. The cotton rope was getting dirty and worn. This took its place with great ease.
