We recently purchased a matte black shower kit and tub spout.Our previous ones were a dark bronze color from Delta. The new matte black Delta products did not come with a tub overflow cover.This product is a great replacement.This cover is made of metal and came with the right size long screw as well. Color matches perfectly.So far I've been able to keep all of our matte black bath accessories (faucet, towel bar etc) clean and spot free by drying off excess water with a simple dry microfiber cloth. It is a small chore but I keep microfiber cloths within easy reach in a bath drawer so it's fast. Do not use typical bath cleaning products to clean, they have the potential to ruin the finish.Once a week or as needed: If the bath ware becomes dirty/soiled I use distilled water (in a 8oz spray bottle) mixed with about 2-3 drops of plain old blue Dawn dish soap (not the platinum soap type). Shake and spray the mix on them, wipe to clean, and then RINSE with a second spray bottle of plain distilled water only, dry off with a different microfiber cloth. We have hard water here and this has kept all the matte black bath fixtures looking great!

Not much to it - just make sure you have a center screw on your overflow drain so everything lines up. Works great.
