I bought these for my 82 year old mother to use. They were large enough for her to use easily and have the blunt end that she's allowed to have to keep in her room at the nursing home.

These work great and look super cute! Remember that they are 7" scissors, so they are kind of a middle size. They feel comfortable in my adult hand and cut through paper great.
