As a whole, the product is very nicely made and I would buy it again. Unfortunately, the instructions were seriously lacking. I assemble a great number of things and I am accustomed to bad documentation and this one still stands out as really bad. Fortunately, it is rather simple to assemble so you can figure it out. One issue with my 2016 Tacoma that was not addressed in the "documentation" was the gravel guard. The truck has a plastic gravel guard across the front that had to be cut to install this bar - there is NO way around this. Removing the guard was simple (10 mm hex screws) and cutting it was also simple using a multi-tool. I cut out a small piece on some fixed lines and it looks great and took seconds. All the videos online seem to not show this guard at all - not sure all models have it... Also, the product image shows a white "WESTIN" and it is instead a black cut out that looks much nicer than the faked photo.

Good product. Easy to install after watching a how-to video on youtube. Instructions are completely worthless. As an example, the Brackets that attach to the core support can be fished thru the lower grill, the instructions say to remove the grill. Took about 45 minutes to install and part of that time was removing the gravel shield. It can be reinstalled if you just make a couple of slots for the brackets. I left mine off because I think the truck looks better without it, personal preference. JUST WATCH THE HOW-TO VIDEO BEFORE YOU START.

Based upon the reviews, it took longer to install than I had expected. Had to cut access holes in the bottom air dam on a 2018 Tacoma. Everyone has different tastes. I did not really like how much space was between the front grill and the bar, the look of the two support brackets on the upper bar or the bolts showing on the brackets on the ends of the lower bar. The black finish on the bar was nice. The price was reasonable and it arrived in one day.

First, as many posters have already stated. The included instructions are crap. Watch videos on YouTube first. Then figure out the install yourself after watching others do it.The Bull Bar itself is really easy to install to the Tacoma frame (Mine is a 2021 Tacoma SR5). But, don't make the big cuts to the gravel apron until the bar has been install and "set." What I did was remove the gravel apron and install the bottom brackets first through the vent holes in the apron and let it "hang". I finished the install of the bar and then determined where to cut the apron so it would fit properly. I ended up cutting slots of 3 or 4 mm to allow the apron room to fit snuggly against the bar's lower brackets. So, the hardest part of the two-hour job was making the cuts to the apron.

Installed it pretty easy. Some alignment awareness as you go and the end result is awesome. Will see on longevity.

Installed this on my 2022tacoma limited 2W drive. Love the look! The instructions and most of the videos I found were not that helpful. I included some pics to show mounting spots. It would have almost been better to not include instructions. Excuse the dirty truck.. needs a bath..

I installed the bar without any assistance(other than a prayer and it being answered by God). The installation took less than two hours. Some of that time was spent cutting and re-cutting the valance. The bottom brackets could have been installed without the valance, but I wanted to keep the finished look under the front of the vehicle. The bar is sturdy and well constructed.

Looks great! Fits 2021 TRD SportFairly easy install. Be prepared to cut a whole in your air dam if you want it leave it on for fuel efficiency.

Looks great and adds the looks of the truck I was going for on my 21' TRD SPORT. Definitely recommend! Tip: if you need front plate displayed in your province/state get the Westin bull bar plate bracket. Fits great.
