Decent micrometers. Did not come in a wooden box as depicted.

Boring blocks requires exact tolerance. I use the to set my dial bore guages. I keep a set of two to prove each other dead on. They consistently hold their accuracy against a pre measured joe block

I bought mine back in January '24. Just had the opportunity in March to test them out at my new job. The carbide tips are not precision ground. You can run your fingernail along them and feel the ridges. The standards are not useful at all. The 1" standard is .996. All the fittings around the thimble and cylinder wobble. They might be good for a hobbyist shop at home, but they're useless in any form of precision work. Lesson learned. Go buy a Mitutoyo.

Box came in good condition. At first glance I was impressed with the quality feel and appearance of them. The standards are all off by .001-.003 but seemed to be consistent when measured with 2 micrometers in the set. On the 4-5 the spindle retracts into the frame for the last ~.025 of travel and the 5-6 ~.010. A couple of the micrometers seemed like they might be off by .001-.002 by the end of travel. Overall they should perform well for my needs. I will definitely be checking the accuracy against the shop gauge blocks. For the price the seem pretty good, but more testing will need done on them.

Very good repeatability. Good value for the price.

The shipment was very poorly package, with a very thin cardboard box, so the wooden box came all broken and the hardware on the box damaged. The micrometers look of average quality, not sure yet about the accuracy of them, I will need to do more testing. The instruments did not seem to be damaged, just the bags were all chewed up, probably again because of the poor packaging. This looks like a typical case of "you get what you pay for..."
