The Whatman 6900-2502 GD/X 25 sterile syringe filters have a 25mm filter, 0.2 micron retention, and a PVDF membrane. The filter is appropriate for use with highly particular-loaded samples greater than 10mL. The polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane has good chemical resistance to common HPLC solvents, has low protein binding, and negligible extractables. PVDF is less hydrophobic and has lower water breakthrough values than PTFE. Pack of 50.

Simply put… The best money can buy! The prefilter sort out all the larger material leaving the smaller pores to filter the finer material. Very pricey, very worth the price
