After removing the old broken catch this unit popped snugly and firmly into place. It is very tight and requires firm soft force to latch the door closed. I view that as a positive and assurance of a good function over time. The price was fair and delivery fast.

Works great; easy to install, but there was already a spare Door Catch on the inside of the door on the other end of the door of our Kenmore dryer. Discovered it when I used the one I bought to replace the failed one.I guess there are two catches in each door because they want to be able to switch it from right or left swing.

Perfect fit for our dryer - and my husband had no trouble getting it in place. Great alternative to an expensive visit by a repairman or replacing the dryer.

Arrived promptly. . it fits the dryer door but for some reason the door doesn't feel tight and secure. I think it's just my poor dryer door isn't properly aligned

Fit my 5 year old cabrio dryer perfectly! Such a simple fix and I'm pleased to have been able to replace the part myself. Just had to pry the old one out with a butter knife and snap this one in. Couldn't be happier!

Saved myself a bundle fixing my Maytag Bravos dryer. A Youtube video is out there where the guy replaces the catch with a putty knife in about 48 seconds. I will confess, it took my husband and I almost 5 minutes. We needed a needle nose pliers, too. And I didn't have to stay home all day for a service guy to come within a 4 hour window and leave me with a big bill....

Perfect, it fit my dryer door, and saved a repair bill. Very easy to install, especially since the old one fell out of the hole. It snapped right in, and laundry was back in business in less than 5 minutes. Don't call a repair-man for this job...DIY.

nice that I can order these; but what a terrible design by Whirlpool. I've been through 3 of these already on a dryer not even 5 years old.
