Your cart is empty. The DIRECT 2 combines the functionality of the two Warlwind DIRECTOR direct boxes in one box. Ideal for converting unbalanced signals from stereo keyboards, acoustic guitar preamps, CDs, tape players, computer sound cards, etc.
The output/input glands of each section are constructed independently of each other. This allows DIRECT 2 to function as a complete 2 DI without creating ground loop interference.

Really well-made. I use it in a live setting. No hum or other noise degradation. Signal is strong.

Whirlwind passive direct boxes are the only way to go. This one came on time, is built strong, and cut out the noise from an unbalanced line from my mixer to my powered speaker. For my purposes it's nice to have it all in one unit instead of 2 boxes.

I had to tighten the screens when I got it because it was rattling. Once I tightened it, it works perfectly.

This thing is great because I don't need 2 D.I. boxes to run my electric acoustic guitar and keyboard on stage. I keep the acoustic near the keyboard so the box for the two of them is under the keyboard stand out of the way of everything.

We have used this item at dances and other functions to connect our DJ PC and mixer to a function hall's PROFESSIONAL sound system. My 1/4" mixing board outputs are connected to the Whirlwind Director-II and the XLR outputs go directly into the facilities' stage input lines to their mixing board which feeds their amp and suspended professional speakers. We set their board volume and then control volume and mikes from my board. Great unit. No hum or noise of any kind. Don't go cheap - go with the best at Amazon prices.

Industry standard. I've had mine for over 20 years. Well worth the up front cost - whirlwind is what all professional audio/touring artists and engineers use and for good reason.
