Your cart is empty.Use this handy box when you need to split a line level signal up to 6 times*. Features 1 female XLR input wired to 6 male XLR outputs. Perfect when adding extra amplifiers to a system, connecting multiple powered speakers, splitting intercom lines, etc. Line level outputs can usually be split 6 times without noticeable loss of signal quality. The actual number of splits that can be accomplished depends on the level of the source signal and the impedances of the source and destinations in a particular application. It is not recommended that the SPLIT 6 be used to split a microphone level signal to more than two outputs. Attempting to do so may result in poor frequency response and reduced signal level. The SPLIT 6 may be used to split microphone level signals in most applications if this limit is observed.

Got a rack o music stuff Im trying to send piano MIDI to. Synths and effects etc. and this really helped with that expansion. Good price. Works perfectly. Flawlessly. Superb product!You can lay it on the back of some rackmount or Velcro it to something.

We had a single run of clear-com headset going to the backstage area of our theater. We added this box, and we were able to split that signal 6 times. Indispensable. When we moved from a vintage Clear-com "party-line" system to the new Helix digital system, we expected this box would be finished- no so! We were able to split a single helix outgoing line (3-pin xlr), and it provided power and signal to the digital belt pack. No signal problems at the box (as long as it's not the incoming cable), and one line with a bad cable does not affect the others on the box.

I do a lot of intercom work & these are great for distributing Clear Com. I have 1 box for channel A and 1 box for channel B. Very well made, they can definitely withstand being dropped on the floor.

Very nice product and no need for power. Is a good show for signal distribution. I used it for various news crews who needed a direct out for their video cameras.

Strange Whirlwind seems to have changed the color blue slightly different years. I've purchased two of these boxes but not at the same time and each is a different shade. Also, the XLR plugs are slightly different designs between the two boxes. Minor of course as the function is solid and performs the job of taking one signal and splitting it into six very well. It's passive of course so no electronics inside just a hard wire connection one to the six.
