All you hear is wind blowing in a tube, not a whistle and dogs could care less about it. Waste of money. Doesn’t do anything to my dogs and one of them are very sensitive to sounds, it does nothing for her. Ordered a replacement one since the first one didn’t work, this one doesn’t either. False advertising, doesn’t do what it says it does, I can hear it and it doesn’t fade my dogs at all. Don’t waste your money buying this

I bought this to deter dogs from chasing me while I'm out cycling. So far it has worked fairly well, startling them without doing any harm.

Please listen to all the 1 star reviews. I read the reviews and figured I'd give it a try anyway. Despite adjusting the whistle and changing the way I blow into the whistle all I hear is my breath going through the tube. Dogs don't react to the pitch. Gave the 2nd one to my neighbor who had the same results. For $6 it's not worth my time trying to return. I don't usually give low reviews so this one is earned.

My dog totally ignores this whistle. While a regular whistle has his complete attention. It is also strange that while the dog does not hear this whistle, my wife does. I would not purchase this again.

My dogs act like I'm not even blowing into it and straight up ignore it. Don't know that they even do anything. They make a weird "broken" whistle sound.

This is just a whistle. No, it does not stop the neighbors dog from barking. Take your money and buy ear plugs. This item is useless. The screw at base turns to get different frequencies again is useless. LESSONED LEARNED!
