I bought this item as a gift for a friend and I think he'll like it a lot. Very solid with a simple elegance to it. I did take one star away since it seems to be a composite marble(bits of marble reconstituted into a solid form) instead of a solid block carved into shape, but it looks nice and should serve him well for many years.

The salt cellar keeps my salt dry and free of clumps. No more shaking and breaking up salt clumps.

Very pretty! Seems to be high quality & definitely functional. I like that it’s heavy and the lid fits properly. Never had one of these little guys before, but Michael Symon has one, so I *needed* one as well. Sorry, Hubs! Could also be used for jewelry or small trinkets. Definitely would recommend.

Cute little salt cellar for the aspiring chef in your life.this would make a great gift. I keep it beside the stove so I can easily grab a bit of salt to sprinkle while cooking. Would be nice with flavoured salts or flavoured sugar as well, at the coffee station.
