Ordered this mailbox because of the larger size and the ability to lock the mailbox to allow for times when I’m away from home for a few days and cannot collect the mail. The mailbox is sturdily constructed with metal and comes with customized house numbers on a plate for the mailbox. The mailbox was easy to install and displays well on the house. I’d highly recommend this product. Great customer service response to my inquiries too.

There is no flag on this box to alert the postal worker to take mail out! Big flaw. Also, I didn’t need the locking aspect and the way to get in and out is very small and narrow. I wanted to love it & paid a lot of money to have it installed, but I don’t think it’s great

this is a solid, high quality product. it is heavy and sturdy. doesn't bend or creak. hinged lid is solid and mostly silent. lid closes with the pleasant thump of rubber bumpers. you can use the internal locking lid or use the tool and replacement hinge pins provided in case you choose to remove it. too soon to tell, but finish looks like it will last a long time.a bit expensive, but mostly seems like you get what you pay for. took longer than normal to arrive (about 3 weeks) presumably due to the time involved in casting the custom address plaque.
