Maintenance
- If 24/7 monitoring of water quality is required, it is recommended to clean and maintain the electrode every 10-15 days to maintain sensitivity.
- If there is a limescale on the electrode, wipe it off with a soft cloth and wipe off water after cleaning. Then soak it in 3M KCL solution for 1-2 hours to maintain the sensitivity. After maintenance, it needs to be calibrated before use.
- For long-term use, it is recommended to replace the electrode every 3 months.
- The main unit cannot be hung on the wall of the fish tank, which can easily lead to water ingress and will damage the product.

Many seem to struggle with calibration, but we found it simple and instinctive. For the first time we have true control of our hydroponic systems, and critically, pH.UI could be better, the graphing system is awful, but it works well enough.

Between the poor instructions and the fact that I tried three times to calibrate, and it never worked, I just can't recommend this meter. I've calibrated MANY tools in my time, and not even once did I have this much trouble with any previous meter. I would follow the poorly written instructions and the calibration would fail every time. I lost the better part of an afternoon trying to get this set, and I was done.

i love this gadget, no more lifting the tops off of the hydroponics bucket. can use internet WiFi to access info. no more multiple trips to the tent . the only thing i do recommend is if your solution or the water has mold or yeast or some other containment in it, make sure you disinfect it real good including not only the probe but the wire. UPDATE: THE VIDEO ISNT WORTH WATCHING with no verbal instruction. my meter is all over the place and its reading 12 in a 4.00 solution for ph/ i need a good instruction manual

The device seems to work as advertised but the app is annoyingly limited. What’s really frustrating is that the feature in the app to get support or provide feedback is broken so you’re on your own if you encounter any issues.The chart view is great to view the historical ph measured, but the fixed scale selection significantly limits its value.To the developers: It would be MUCH MORE useful if the graph scale could be changed. This could be done with a pinch gesture on the screen and/or there could be +/- buttons to zoom in and out. Please consider adding these to significantly improve the app.It would also be nice if they provided a way to clear the historic sensor data (and minimum/maximum values).

Bought this unit to adjust EC and Ph in my hydroponic garden. Works great. When setting it up only use the low limit in EC though to control. If it hits the high limit it also triggers the relay to turn the chemical pump on. Easy enough to set the high limit to 199999 though so it will never hit it and have the pump add more nutrient. Will update review after a season of use to comment on longevity of unit but so far seems like it’s a good buy for the price.Update: for the price this unit is working great to keep my pH and Conductivity where it needs to be in my hydroponic system. I’m running 2 110v chemical pumps off the relays to inject nutrient and acid. So far so good.

I really wanted this to work, but so far it’s not going so well. The monitor arrived with a dirty pH probe that had obviously been used. After you connected it to your Tuya account it’s not configured to show up in any of the other smart home platforms that Tuya uses. Alexa, SmartThings. Also, none of the alarms ( high or low temperature/pH/EC ) would send me a notification. This product has so much promise but I cannot recommend it. It would be great if the data would show up in SmartThings or Alexa, that you could create automations for.
