I have too many refrigerators. Occasionally, the breaker would trip on the outside refrigerator that contains ice creams (for the children) and cold snacks (for the adult children.)I purchased this to prevent the inevitable tears that come with having melted ice cream in the outdoor freezer whenever the breaker would trip and go unnoticed. It works perfectly...sometimes a little too good.Setup is fairly easy, and I had my first probe in the freezer within a few minutes. Adding new sensors is easy as well. You will need to play with the alarm temperatures and timing for a bit to eliminate false alarms. The base stations has a handy hush button for when you're going through this phase. There's a bit of a delay on the push notifications when units go into alarm, but it's not enough to really be a problem. The sensor probes do cause the door seals to leak just a tiny bit because of the wire that connects to the external base station, and we get some ice buildup around the outside unit where the moisture can seep in, but that's because I don't want to drill the side panel to insert the sensor probe into the refrigerators.I've had this working for a few months and we have had no lost ice creams since.

I am a taxidermist and I always check my freezers daily, before I got one of these. I would constantly worry about a freezer going out and ruining thousands of dollars worth of product. Well, I can now sleep at night with a little extra safety and insurance. If you rely on a machine maintaining a certain temperature and you also want peace of mind, look no further than this product. I will be buying more sensors for other things in the near future.

I put one in my freezer because we just got a side of beef. And one in my greenhouse, so my plants won't cook. Super easy, 2 connect. It seems accurate and very easy to read on my phone app. I recommend it. I would buy it again. In fact, i'm gonna connect two more to my kitchen freezer and my refrigerator. For me it's well worth the money. I don't want To lose a freezer full of meat. It beeps loudly and alarms you. If the temperature gets below or higher than where, you've set it. It's very easy to change those limits also.

These worked great in both my kitchen freezer and garage freezer, but because both my freezers have drawers, I had an issue with the cord getting tangled in the drawers when I opened and closed the freezer. I also didn't like the look of having the sensors stick on my refrigerator. Getting the alerts on my phone is enough for me. So if you don't have freezer drawers, and don't mind seeing the cords on your sensors stuck to your fridge, this set worked great. For my use, I just preferred the YoLink setup.

After having a refrigerator to die while we were busy for two days and losing over $500 worth of both cold and frozen food, I wanted something to let me know what my fridge (upper and freezer) and our chest and upright freezers were doing at all times. Installation of the base unit and all 4 sensors took less than a hour. I set the desired temps for notification and connected both mine and my wife's cell phones. Now we get an alarm if a temp goes above the set temp. Plus we can look at any time to check. I plan to add water sensors for my basement and my shop to the system.

With the beauties! After a freezer failure I bought a cheap alarm and that was fine but this one I can set it for a certain temp and if it rises that high it will go off (sooner than then one temp cheap one).

I bought this because my old freezer in the basement died and I lost ~$800 in frozen goods. Works great now, but I had a lot of issues synching the units to the base. Took a bit of back and forth with email support, but finally got all 4 working and it’s working great.

The images show the ST4 (Zigbee) sensor ( What I thought I purchased) and they shipped the ST5 (BLE) sensor that has a weaker range. I thought I could make the ST5 work but the signal is too weak. I have the ST4 version on another house and they work great, easy app to work with.
