I used an old hand truck and some stuff from Home depot and Amazon to make a nice beach cart. Get some bearings that are 7/8" outside diameter (O.D.) and 3/8" inside diameter (I.D.) and use them along with 3/8" threaded rod, nuts and washers to make a sweet cart. I used three bearings per wheel and used some zinc pipe that I cut to fit between each bearing to keep them where I wanted them. I just found the smallest hollow pipe that fit over the threaded 3/8" pipe.

They DO have a valve stem and take 3 lbs. of pressure. I had to make bushings for them on my 3D printer to adapt them to 1/2" x 8" bolts. See accompanying pictures. They don't seem to be rubber... more like some sort of polyethylene. Nice sturdy Polypropylene rims. I'm putting them on my custom beach cart, so we'll see how they hold up to the ocean conditions here at the beach. So far I like what I see.

Balloon tires ride better over sand and rough ground. Rides over small rocks and tree roots much better than the hard tires. Doesn’t sink in deep sand link hard tires.

Good quality, surprisingly light for how durable they are. Very little air to inflate. I have not tried yet but seems to be good quality. Pricey so I recommend buying return units in used but new shape as I did.

Worked great on my beach cart and I can now carry my big arse cooler to the beach with little effort.

they are good for the sand. they are made to go on the wilderness systems cart, the axle hole is large. also they come deflated so you have to pump them up to 3-5 lbs. most gauges start at 10. good luck.
