For some reason, I could not find a simple nutcracker in any retail store. So, I came to Amazon to solve that issue. These definitely crack nuts but it's a little bit on the flimsy side. The first time I used them, the handles did not line up evenly and the cracked nut was off center. I would say that these are great in a pinch and to use both hands. I don't need these often so it's not bothersome for me that they aren't the sturdiest.

Besides being an excellent nutcracker, I use this to open stubborn water bottles.

I really wanted to like this product. But I am not overly impressed. The teeth that grip the nut when you crack it are woefully inadequate. The nut wants to skip out of the crackers grip. Simple thing for maker to fix! Wish they would!!!

Rubbish. Can’t crack almonds. Also different design than picture a lot tackier and cheaper looking than photo.

i had bought this nut cracker to help me with my fav dry fruit pistachio as some times opening the shell of a pistachio can be quite painful but after the purchase now i realise its easier to deal with the shell than the nut cracker, The shell seating does not happen correctly because of the pistachio slips as you press to crack blah blah blah. Product not liked
