USE AND MAINTENANCE
- Please tear off the transparent protective film on the surface of the battery before using the battery.
- After each dive, wash the diving torch with fresh water to prevent seawater corrosion.
- Clean, lubricate and check the O-ring, that would better for the flashlight's long-term use.
- If not used for a long time, fully charge and discharge the battery every two months to prolong the battery life.
- When the dive light is not in use, remove the battery and keep it in a cool place.
- When using the battery for the first time (please remove the transparent film on the surface of the battery), and charge it for at least 5-6 hours. Not all new batteries are fully charged.
- Please install the battery correctly. The positive (+) is close to the inside of the battery compartment, and the negative (-) is close to the rear cover of the battery compartment.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: After installing the battery, please tighten the rear cover of the battery compartment. If it is not fully tightened, it may only emit weak light or not work.

For a third of the price of the better known name brand lights, this is a steal. No, it doesn’t really seem like 5000 lumens. My 3k lumen Orcalight is arguably brighter, or about the same (see picture, this product is on the right). But that cost 3x as much as this light. Build quality is solid, light is bright, and it comes with a charger and nice touches such as the power level indicator. All features found on higher level/cost lights. Great for a backup light. Build quality feels decent, though nothing to write home about. But again, expectations have to be realistic with something this affordable.Battery life is as indicated so far, and I appreciate the charger being included, which works great.

This rechargeable LED dive light is good backup or loaner quality light. It comes with 26650 battery, charger, lanyard, and USB-C cable in a semi-disposable plastic case. The battery has to be charged externally, meaning you have to remove the end cap of the light; this may lead to eventual leaks due to O-ring wear.The light is quite bright and has a relatively narrow beam. I did not run it long above water to prevent overheating the LED head. I've tested it on three dives in fresh water, down to a maximum depth of 96 feet. I experienced no leaks. It will not be replacing my Dive-Rite lights but it's a fine loaner or backup.Good value for the money.

Meh. I'm very disappointed in the product page for not really showing much about the product. They've even changed the photos from when I first ordered it and they give even less info. I wanted to know how it charged, if it had a focus feature, and some other things but I had to get it to actually find out.What you get is the flashlight, a case, a big battery (not Samsung), a battery charging "cradle", and a lanyard.This is WAAAY too complicated to use as a regular flashlight. This is JUST a diving light. That's it. That's all you want to do with it. You have to remove the big battery from the light, put it into the cradle, and then plug that into the wall to charge it. Then put everything back together when it's done. Bleh.Oh, and it has no focus feature which makes sense with the waterproofing feature.Overall, if you dive, it's probably fine. If not, don't get it.

OK, I'm a knucklehead. I did not see the very tight plastic wrap on the battery and could not get my flashlight to work. Once that was removed this light lit up my entire shop. I have some cool tactical flashlights that I thought were bright. Nope. This tiny wonder outshines them all (forgive the pun). Waterproof too, though I have not tested it at depth. This is a great flashlight, whether or not you dive.

This flashlight comes in a nice kit that includes the flashlight, a carrying case, a lanyard, the battery, charger and sheeth. It's a very bright light, with multiple settings to adjust the brightness level that you need. I apprecaite that it uses a rechargeable battery, however, just note that if that battery goes bad you would't be able to replace it with a regular alkaline battery, you would need an exact replacement. I had a similar light where once the battery was fully depleted when I accidentally left it on in a bag, it couldn't be recharged. So I am a little bit leary of that but if you use the case and prevent accidental full discharge, it would likely never be an issue for you. Otherwise, the battery lasts a long time and you get a lot use and versatility with it being rechargeable.
