Works great for allowing me to feel safe in my apartment- windows are the sliders and I am able to adjust the windows to the width of the opening,Still fresh air! Still safe!

My kid got one of the windows in his room out of it’s track. He had to also break a latch off the window to get to where he could remove the window. It’s a miracle the glass didn’t break. I don’t know how he was able to break the latch and I couldn’t get it back on of course.You may be wondering why I didn’t stop him from doing it in the first place. I was watching the Vikings paste the Giants in New York, even though the stadium is in East Rutherford New Jersey. Go Vikings.Now that he knows how to take it out I had to immobilize the window somehow. The short term solution was to use a vice grip to jam the window closed. Does the kid know how to use a vice grip? No, but I bet he can figure it out! Long term solution is these clamps. They come with Allen wrenches with wings that make instillation super easy. He watched me do it so as long as I keep the wrenches away from him he ð‘ð‘Ÿð‘œð‘ð‘Žð‘ð‘™ð‘¦ can’t get the window out again. I think it’s worth noting that this same child once pulled a doorknob off a door without removing the screws. Seriously. The doorknob was in another room but the screws that hold it in place were still in the door. At least he didn’t lose anything we needed to put it back together.This product served my purpose very well. There is foam on the inside to prevent metal on metal contact but once tightened it stays securely in place. For my situation these were worth every penny.

Work exactly as one would think. Very solid aluminum, with rubber inserts to protect window channel from damage.I really like these. There may be other types of locks, maybe better ones, but I have not owned those.And these are great.

Perfect. Perfect Perfect! I needed to have my ground floor window cracked in my kitchen due to condensation from the heat, which is steam that was causing mold in the window and I needed security of some sort to allow the window to stay cracked for air but I needed safety. These were so easy to install. Took me longer to read the instructions than to do the installation which was 1 minute! No instructions were in the box I just look at photos and videos on Amazon. Very helpful!

works pretty good on windows but a little challenging if your putting on glass sliding door you will need to put a wedge between screw and inner plate for it to keep sliding door closed, it does not come with thick enough wedge thus the reason you will have to get creative and find somthing to put on the inside..

I picked up these locks to use on a vacation down south. It gave the added sense of security we needed!Though they did not fit on the sliding door track on the floor, I was able to use it on the upper track (at the top of the door frame).Easy to use. No issues!

Grateful to have found this. We use on all balcony doors and windows as we have a curious toddler and were frightened of what they'd get into. Would recommend to all parents.

I bought these to lock the windows in my 3 year old's bedroom. They work well and are easy to use. I also wanted to use it on his closet door. The door has glass so I didn't want him opening and closing it all the time. It didn't work on our track but I think it's because of the shape of the closet track. I could see it working on other tracks so would be worth a try if that's what you need it for. Overall would recommend.

Good product overall. Included screw driver had some sharp edges that had to be filed smooth but an easy fix.
