  • Turn on the EMF detector, the display will read higher numbers when there is some amount of electromagnetic field present around.

  • A must-do before every measurement is to calibrate the EMF detector as this ensures precise readings. Do not move, shake, or wave the meter as that can conduct false readings.

  • EMF detectors do not identify the presence of any ghosts but simply the occurrence of any unexplainable energy fluctuations.

Works fine. It is a little fussy but once you get used to it, it is fairly accurate and sensitive. If you've been wanting an EMF reader this is a good one.

Interesting tool to detect magnetic fields. I see it give off numbers as I put it close to transformers, motors, etc which will obviously have high fields. The manual talks of "Certain fields can be harmful... cause cancers...", yet they don't say anything of "level 10 or more you should be cautious about" with any numbers to go off of. Also most don't sleep right on top of such devices, so how close or far away you should be while taking the readings is another question. So unless you already know exactly what numbers to watch for with all those details, doesn't seem to help much.

This a simple, compact EMF meter. There are not a lot of buttons or menus or options. The instructions are clear-cut and easy to understand. However, I feel like this EMF meter might be too sensitive to be accurate. Damn near anything sets this meter off and makes it beep an alarm. I wish there was a way to turn off the alarm / beeping and just take measurements, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it.

I'm not expert on EMF, but this appears to work as advertised. If I'm standing in the middle of the room away from all electronics, the readings will be zero... But when I put this device next to something with electricity going through it, it will start screaming. The readings tell you how much EMF something is producing, and surprisingly my iPhone isn't putting out nearly as much as a LED light bulb.

What I really like about this electromagnetic radiation tester is how responsive it is to any stimulus that I put in front of it. I like that it is sensitive, it shows that it’s picking up readings even at a sensitive level, so I think that’s a good thing. I like that this electromagnetic radiation tester is also rechargeable via USB-C, so that definitely helps a lot with not having it replaced with batteries all the time. I like that it lights up and turns red and beeps when the level is in what they refer to as the “red zone” or a high level of electromagnetic radiation. The reading always base lines back out to zero when I put it over my person and it has been for the most part pretty accurate compared to one of my other friends that was over and had his electromagnetic radiation tester as well and they were both reading about the same numbers. There’s really nothing that I don’t like about this electromagnetic radiation tester, it’s just gonna take some getting used to because there are so many options in different metric system data that you can choose from too.Overall, I am very happy that I did get this electromagnetic radiation tester, it’s something that I’ve been wanting to use to test around my apartment to make sure I am still with the normal levels and ranges of the electromagnetic radiation field. I will definitely recommend this electromagnetic radiation tester to all my family and friends, and to anyone looking for a sensitive, and very good tester to check around your place, or even at work, or wherever really, I would recommend this to you too.

This meter is versatile, measuring electric field (EF), magnetic field (MF), and temperature. It’s lightweight yet feels solid and durable, featuring rubberized, non-slip sides for a comfortable grip. The large display is easy to read, showing measured values alongside light indicators and written alerts, confirming if EF and MF levels are safe. I found that many of my household appliances exceed the values of (0.4µT/4mG) or 40V/m, so this meter often sounds an alarm when measuring new gadgets. Once I step back and the alarm stops, it clearly indicates the safe distance I should maintain. The unit also automatically shuts off after a few minutes to conserve battery life. This EMF and temperature meter provides a simple, reliable way to assess safe distances from electrical devices, broadcast and cell towers, and other EMF sources, as prolonged exposure to elevated EMF can impact health. Please note that this meter does not measure RF as stated in the description. RF-emitting devices include cell phones, wireless gadgets, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth systems, local wireless networks, radio towers, microwave ovens, e-readers, and baby monitors, so an additional meter is required to measure those. These devices also emit EMR, which this meter can measure effectively.Overall, this meter performs exceptionally well, offering a great way to monitor EMR levels for peace of mind.

I had originally gotten the Wintact EMF detector for 2 reasons; 1 curiosity, and 2 a tool to help determine possible sources of wi-fi problems around the house. I will say the meter works, but it work too well. It is way too sensitive to anything and everything electric or electronic to pin point anything. It is almost as if you can hold the meter in one hand and just look at anything electric or battery powered and it will go off. I am joking of course, but that is not too far off base. I guess you shouldn't really expect a high quality tool at this price point, but still I expected something more useful.

4 out of 5 Stars (4)⭐⭐⭐⭐[TL;DR][QUALITY] (4/5)[VALUE] (4/5)[EASE OF USE] (4/5)[MET EXPECTATIONS] (4/5)[PACKAGING] (4/5)[REVIEW REMARKS]This is the first electromagnetic frequency (EMF) reader I have used, so I am not well versed on the science of the levels of electromagnetic frequency, or what is safe and what is not. With that said, this device does measure 'something'. When close to powered electronic equipment, it goes haywire. The screen goes red and it beeps (which you can silence).Every home has EMF, especially those with a lot of wireless devices. This is the primary reason for my ordering of this handheld device.Operation is really simple and the display is super bright and easy to read. You do need to take this with a grain of salt, but "ghost detection". I am not going to comment too far on this claim, but pseudoscience is present with this gadget, in my opinion. I really do not know if I am picking up my router, or Casper the friendly ghost. The manual really does not delve too much into the readings, what are safe levels and not safe levels. This device should have a case or something. I feel that this should be carried in something between uses. Nothing was included.I do LOVE that it is rechargeable. Nothing worse than ordering a device and there are no batteries included. This is a win. Time to use is minimized, which I appreciate. All in all, my expectations were really low for this product to be good or effective at measuring EMF. With that said, it does measure 'something', and I am trying to figure out what it all means. If you are committed to reducing EMF in your home or office, this might be a good product to start with. However, prior to ordering, do some research on the topic and see if this fits your needs. It is well made for the price point, it has a rechargeable battery, large bright easy to read screen, and it is easy to use. So, based on this, you can base your call on it. This review is based on the unit itself, and not on the science it represents. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.
